Heroic Deeds || Aurora & Gaston
@bicepstosparee
Aurora normally was good at paying attention to her surroundings. She kept her things close to her no matter what ring she was in and tried to keep her head up and look as unapproachable as possible when she was in a hurry. She knew that wasn't always the case; she could be too nice for her own good, but she still gave it a solid try.
Today started off normal: she was making her way to a job that was close enough to walk and was only stopped once. The man asked her for directions and just when Aurora thought things were okay, he snatched her purse and ran off. Aurora was stunned to say the least and wasn't sure what to do. She ended up finding the first person who looked close enough to law enforcement and tugged at their arm, even though she knew it wasn't the most professional.
"I'm so sorry sir! I just don't know what to do. He has my purse!" She pointed to the man still running down the street and bit her lip. "I don't think I can catch him..."
After being told to sit very still until her father finished his meeting Willow truly found herself getting quite bored just sitting alone. First she went about tying her shoes over and over, then it went to picking the pilled cotton off her large sweater, but she really became impatient after counting each bracket along the windows. “Does anyone know how long these stupid meetings last? The council can’t make up their minds on anything can they?” She huffed as she looked at the poor figure who happened to grab her attention. “I will pay you if you can help me find something to do as I wait for my father to finish his meeting.”
If Aurora was quite honest with herself, she felt really out of place being anywhere near the council. But her manager was a part of the meetings and they had their schedules so jam-packed that it was a shoot and six in the morning and the meeting right after. Aurora hated waiting out here as much as the other girl did and when she offered to give her money, she laughed. “You don’t have to pay me. I’m sure we can find our own fun outside of the building if you wanna go look for an ice cream shop or something.”
Where would you be during The Purge?
“Hopefully far away from it....”
Any cuties you've got a crush on?
“A crush? Oh, no, no, no! I can’t get into those things too hard...I mean, I’ve found a few guys cute enough to get coffee with...but I don’t want to get my hopes up!”
What's your biggest regret?
“Not leaving a letter for Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. They were so good to me growing up and I was just...I am just....a stupid little girl who thinks she knows what she’s doing. I know I could go see them...but I’m terrified to see the disappointment in their faces.”
What’s one mistake that you’ll never make again?
“Umm...I mean borrow my manager's car for sure! Officer Hopps was too kind to me and I never want to take that for granted.”
How do you relax after a long day?
“I change into sweats and drink chamomile tea. Playing relaxing music, some yoga....all of these things are key to a relaxing evening. Sometimes I scream into a pillow if things are extra rough...”
What's the strangest place you've woken up in?
“Umm....probably outside of a coffee shop. I have no explanation for that one.”
do you hold grudges?
“I try not to. It’s not very good for the heart. I guess in the end it depends on the situation...”

“I think it’s fine, as long as it’s now /how/ you try and get out of a ticket,” Judy chuckled, knowing that definitely wasn’t the case because, well, Judy had already excused it. “And it’s Officer Hopps!” She added on with a smile.
“Officer Hopps!” Aurora cried out, taking the plunge and hugging her tightly. “You are the best! I’m so grateful I just....Do you want coffee? It’s not a bribe or anything, I promise! I just think that nice actions deserve nice actions in return.”
They shut the large door behind them, humming a soft tune as they shed the disguise they’d been wearing. Blonde hair shifted to brown, a slightly flashier outfit gave way to simple. A clean enough getaway, if they were fair. Except for the fact they saw someone watching them. Fuck.
“Well…hello, there.”
Aurora watched the man who seemed to change into a whole new person within seconds in awe. How did he do that? With the way he glanced at her she probably wasn’t supposed to see him do that.
“Hi....That was so cool! I mean...I saw nothing!”
“The other guy is worse. I should’ve brought some chips, I’m hungry now.”
“Do you need help? I might have some band-aids!”

You Hairy Geranium || Open
lets-be-incredible:
Well at least she was happy about it. Jack-Jack found himself grinning back, sheepishly, and still red in the face. “I… honestly don’t know. It really just sounded good in my head. A geranium is a type of flower though, so… a hairy flower to tickle your nose?” He offered, as if that helped explain anything.
Aurora bursted out laughing, snorting a little. She didn’t know why the thought of a hairy flower was so funny to her. She thinks it had to do with the fact that she imagined a flower with a mustache. “That’s..great! Probably the best insult? It is an insult, right? Yeah, the best insult I’ve ever heard!”

Judy wasn’t sure why Parking tickets bothered people so much. They were only 20 bucks and weren’t even visible on your driving record. It wasn’t like she was handing out 200 dollar speeding tickets that could take a good chunk of points off your license. “Well,” Judy paused thinking about it. Parking tickets weren’t so much about the money as they were used for “behavior modification”. For /some/ people it took $5000 in fines to finally learn, but for some, it was just a simple warning. This girl looked like she was going to burst into tears so Judy decided to be nice. “I haven’t printed the ticket yet so I can just cancel it. Do try to be more aware of your time, though. I can’t give warnings all the time.”
“Is it wrong to hug someone on duty?” Aurora covered her mouth after the words spilled out. She was just so grateful for this woman. She hadn’t met many nice cops, so this was a first. She wanted to hug her and cry a little bit, but also move the car asap so that she didn’t change her mind. “Just...thank you. Thank you so much! Officer....” she scanned for a name tag. “Oh! What is your name? I want to be able to thank you properly.”
