You wanna know what happens when you're starving?
Your hair gets thin and limp. Noticeably. You don’t have enough nutrients to help it stay healthy.
You get so. Fucking. Cold. All the time. People don’t want to touch you, because you’re so cold. You’ll be shivering under a blanket, in a hot tub, by a fire, wherever you are.
You’ve heard that seeing food will be upsetting? You have no idea. Even if it’s nowhere near you, or on a screen, or in the hands of a stranger, you’ll resent it because you want it. Some nights you’ll start crying because you miss it so much.
Everything will become numbers. You aren’t just walking your dog anymore, you’re counting the minutes and calories you’re burning. You aren’t enjoying a warm day, you’re trying to figure out if the higher temperatures are making your heart rate go up so you burn faster.
Your social life will die. You’ll be skittish and avoid people when they have food in case they offer some. You’ll say no to parties and dates and meet-ups because you think there might be food. You’ll grow paranoid, terrified of people finding out. You’ll start to despise people who love you solely because they want to help.
You’ll hurt. That pang in your chest? It’s probably because you’re not eating. Your stomach? Say goodbye to its silence. Your butt? It’ll hurt whenever you sit down. You’ll get headaches, heart pains, even breathing will eventually become exhausting.
And eventually, you’ll die. Maybe you ate more than usual and couldn’t handle the thought of gaining, and exercised so much that your heart overexerted itself. Maybe you actually did gain, and that enough was enough to make you swallow a handful of pills. Maybe your blood pressure lowered to fatal levels, or maybe you passed out and hit your head on a table.
It all ends the same.
Don’t let the “pro ana’s” fool you, this isn’t a glamorous lifestyle. This is a deadly and painful illness.
I feel like a lot of people need to remember that before they skip their meals.
Don’t do this to yourselves, you gorgeous humans. You deserve to live. You deserve friends. You deserve love.
You deserve to eat.
🍵low cal green tea popsicles🍵
you will need
🍵 2 bags of your green tea of choice (0 cals)
💧water (0 cals duh)
🍋 1 and a half tablespoons of lemon juice (0 cals unless youre using sweetened lemon juice, then it may have calories)
🍯 ½ tablespoon of honey (mine is 30 cals but yours may differ!)
a popsicle mold (these can be picked up at almost any grocery store or on amazon for super cheap!)
how to make them
1. brew your tea according to package instructions
2. mix honey and lemon juice into the brewed tea (you can also add fruits and vegetables like blueberries, cucmbers, or mint!)
3. pour into popsicle molds and put them into the freezer over night!
4. enjoy!!
to calculate the calories
add up the total amount of calories (for me it was 30) then divide it by the amount of popsicle molds (mine has 4)! ex. 30/4=7.5 so each popsicle would be 7.5 calories!
Making these rn
25 Calorie Chips
So I’m alone at home today (that’s why I’m posting so much lol) and decided to try making ‘chips’ and they turned out decently well! They’re nice and crunchy and only 25 kcal, perfect for satisfying a craving.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp white flour (25 kcal) - I have no idea if this’ll work for other flours
0.25 tsp salt
0.25 tsp baking powder
3-4 tbsp water
How to:
Put a nonstick pan on medium heat and let it get nice and toasty. Mix together all your ingredients until you get a nice, liquidy batter. Spray the pan with water (I put water in a little spray bottle because I don’t have 0 cal cooking spray, but you could use that if you have it) enough to coat the pan but not too much (you don’t want big drops collecting on the pan).
Pour the batter onto the pan and tilt the pan until it’s evenly coated. Leave it on medium heat until the batter starts flaking off the sides, like so:
Once the sides are nice and dry, you can slowly start peeling off little ‘chips’ and putting them aside (or eating them right away, you do you). Keep the pan on medium heat until the batter is dry and crackly, and you can peel off the entire bottom.
At this point, you can break off the dryer bits and leave the uncooked batter on the pan to brown some more.
Keep cooking until it’s browned enough for you, then break it up into smaller pieces and serve! You can dip it into sauce (but careful, these are rather brittle) or eat them spiced or plain.
Voila the finished recipe! I know it looks a little funny, but trust me, this is AMAZING for satisfying chip cravings!

40-50 Calorie Milkshake 🥛
Each recipe makes 2 servings! *Author’s note: if you use skim milk and blend it up, it doubles in volume because of the air being whipped into the milk. If you want to make this vegan, add 2 cups of almond milk instead (also 80 kcal).
~40 Calorie (Caramel/Vanilla) Milkshake~
Ingredients: - 1 cup skim milk OR 2 cups almond milk (80 kcal) - 2-4 tbsp Splenda or other 0 cal sweetener to taste (0 kcal) - 1 tsp imitation vanilla OR caramel OR banana OR any extract you like (0 kcal - most imitation extracts are) - 3-5 large ice cubes (0 kcal)
How to: Put everything in a blender (except for the ice) and blend until it’s mixed. Add ice and pulse/blend until there are no big ice chunks. Pour into two glasses and serve!
~50 Calorie Chocolate Milkshake~
Ingredients: - 1 cup skim milk OR 2 cups almond milk (80 kcal) - 2-4 tbsp Splenda or other 0 cal sweetener to taste (0 kcal) - 1 tbsp cocoa powder (20 kcal) - 3-5 large ice cubes (0 kcal)* - OPTIONAL: 1 tsp imitation vanilla OR caramel OR peppermint for some extra awesomeness (0 kcal)
*Note: instead of using ice, I made mint tea (0 kcal) and froze it into ice cubes, then blended it up for a really tasty chocomint milkshake! But if that’s not your thing, you could totally skip this.
How to: Put everything in a blender (except for the ice) and blend until it’s mixed. Add ice and pulse/blend until there are no big ice chunks. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!
Smoothie Masterpost
I’m a huge, huge fan of fruit smoothies, to the point where I get HUGE packs of frozen fruit (from Costco of course, I pretty much live there) just to make smoothies. I’m going to make a mix n’ match to make your own smoothie, with the calories listed!
Start with a liquid (0.5 cup):
unsweetened almond milk (20 kcal)
skim milk (40 kcal)
water (0 kcal)
unsweetened cashew milk (20 kcal)
2% milk (60 kcal)
Add your frozen fruit (0.5 cup):
blueberries (35 kcal)
mango (60 kcal)
cherries (45 kcal)
strawberries (25 kcal)
peaches (30 kcal)
banana (70 kcal)
pineapple (37 kcal)
Optional: add sweetener (1 tbsp):
honey (60 kcal)
Splenda/Stevia/0 cal sweetener (0 kcal)
granulated sugar (48 calories)
agave nectar (63 kcal)
Stick everything in a blender and blend it up! This makes a very thick smoothie (the way I like it!) that I eat with a spoon like ice cream :P
Pro tips:
You could totally add some cinnamon or other herbs/spices (mint, too!) or even peanut butter (great with bananas) or chocolate chips/cocoa powder~
If you’re using something other than cow milk (like almond milk, cashew milk, water, etc.) consider adding a tsp of xanthan gum (10 kcal). It really helps keep everything blended and prevents it from having a slushy texture (unless you like slushies)~
For some extra awesomeness, instead of doing half a cup of frozen fruit, do a quarter cup of two different fruits! Some of my favourite combos are: mango & blueberry, cherry & strawberry, cherry & peach, peach & blueberry, strawberry & banana, banana & blueberry. Or, if you’re not too worried about calories (because these are fruits, they’re seriously super good for you) just mix a bunch of ‘em together and see how it goes! Bananaberry (0.25 cup banana, 1 tbsp blueberries, 1 tbsp cherries, 2 tbsp strawberries) is seriously so good and one of my favourites~
40 Calorie Almond Drink
I usually double this recipe and drink it when I need a boost, or use the regular recipe and have it with meals. You can make this pretty much any flavour you like, and it tastes super creamy and delicious! This is kind of my go-to for everything because it’s super customizable and satisfies my sweet tooth in one go~
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (40 kcal)
0 cal sweetener + 1 tsp imitation extract of choice OR 1-2 tbsp 0 cal syrup of choice
OPTIONAL: ice
OPTIONAL: chilled coffee, to make it a frappe :P
Mix your ingredients together (you don’t even need a blender for this, but you could use one if you like). Enjoy!
Some of my favourites are: strawberry syrup, caramel extract/syrup (with or w/o coffee), maple extract (with or w/o coffee), coconut extract, vanilla extract (with or w/o coffee), chocolate syrup

I just looked in the fucking mirror and I look disgusting, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t fucking do this anymore. My stomach is literally bulging out and my thighs can’t stop jiggling. My arms are so fat and my face is just a disappointment to this world. I hate everything for once I wanna be proud of myself and i know I sound repetitive but I just want slit both my wrists and cut again because all those comments about “it getting better” WHEN?? I would rather die now than having to wait a few more years for it to “get better” that’s my least favourite dumbass saying. It’s so hot right now I wish I can die from a heat stroke, I’ll never get skinny, no one will ever actually love me or be proud of me, no one can convince me otherwise.
