Equius felt his blood go hot as his strength seemed to come back to him. He looked into the eyes of a murderer and he dared to call him brother? Equius had never felt mire disgusted. To him, Gamzee looked like a bug that needed to be squished beneath his foot.
"What have you done, Gamzee." Equius spat at the clown, who was perched in front of him. He felt warm against the cool night air, and his breath came out of him in slow, strong currents of steam. He tensed every muscle in his body, not knowing what Gamzee was going to do. His eyes stared into those of the clown, but he still felt himself shaking with discomfort at the situation. He knew that this was not going to end well for him. He hoped Gamzee would just think he was cold. "This didn't work too well for you last time." He said in a slow, false confidence.
