Sooo I am actually so desperate right now that I even made a seperate tumblr account for this but I am looking for this very specific fanfiction/oneshot that I once read about shawn mendes. It has been a while since I read it, i think like 8 years even, and I just cant find it anymore :( so i REALLY REALLY hope you guys can help me out!!
I’ll give you guys a description, it was REALLY LONG so buckle up
So it was a collection of oneshots/imagines I think, and I am looking for this one specific story:
- So y/n (idek if it was a y/n story or an oc but ih well we’ll use y/n for now) is going through a breakup, I remember specifically that she is watchin a show and screaming at the tv about how that guy’s bad for her or something, all while eating ice cream. Idk how but if I remember correctly, her friend encourages her to go out clubbing to get her out of her misery, the thing is I cannot remember the friend appearing anywhere else in the story but I do believe she must be there somewhere.
- so they dress up, and I vividly remember that y/n is wearing this little black dress and red lipstick.
- so they go to the bar idk what happened exactly anymore, but they get to the bar, y/n gets a few drinks, yada yada.
- meanwhile shawn steps into the bar alone, and it is stated that “normally he doesnt do this but something told him he had to go” or something like that. So he gets a beer and goes to sit on a bar chair next to y/n I THINK?
they get talking and y/n is already tipsy and “recognises him but can’t place her finger on it” so shawn decides not to tell her he’s a singer (idk why, to have normal human interaction? To not be seen as this huge idol? Idk man lol).
Eventually they get talking and everything goes very easily.
Then y/ns ex steps into the bar and I REMEMBER PERFECTLY THAT HIS NAME WAS NICK. So nicks being an asshole towards y/n, i do believe xalling her a slut or something idk somethin cliche and then shawn steps in, backing y/n, jaw tightening, shark eyes focused on nick, ready to fight, but then y/n being the pick me girl she is steps in and is like “nooo shawn look at me he’s not worth it!!” And then shawn looks at her and his eyes soften.
At least thats how I remember it, could very well have been a fight lol.
Anywayyyy shawn and y/n start dancing together, having a fun time and eventually “there’s nothing holding me back” starts playing.
And y/n’s all like “OHMYGOD I LOVE THIS SONG” and shawn is like “do you knwo who sings it?” “And she is like I FORGOT BUT IDC J LOVE THIS SONG” and shawn just kinda laughs at how oblivious she is and i believe also enjoying not being liked for the fact that he’s a singer but that rhis girl is genuinely having a good time with him.
Anyway eventually they start to feel the alcohol, start sancing against each other, things get pretty heated.
So they decide to go home together, they wait for a taxi and if I remember correctly shawn gives his jacket to y/n because she’s cold.
Evwntually they get inside the taxi and uhmm shawns hands get between her legs (all with consent though!) y/n getting flustered and shy bc what if the taxi driver sees it (which SO VALID WTF)
They get to shawns apartment and I remember I found it very difficult to follow what exactly happened at the door, I think they kissed and there was some fumbling with the keys or something.
Anyway eventually they get inside.
And then you can probably guess what happens next. I remember it being a very detailed.
Then the next morning y/n wakes up, and realises “wtf I had sex with shawn mendes”
And leaves without a trace (where were you in the morning much?)
This was all just ONE chapter in an imagines collection and it was REALLY detailed, I am probably still leaving parts out and there is a possibility I dont remember everything correctly but if this story sounds really familiar PLEASE GIVE ME TIPS, A LINK OR ANYTHING.
One last hint is that I vaguely remember that there was a part two to this story, they run into each other again, and at first shawn is mad she left him like that but then eventually theh make up and hook up again.
I know theres a lot of cliche’s in the story but for the time being it was SO GOOD and I just want to find it again lol.
