GXSC I think might be the cooler aesthetic and so many songs on this album have me flashing back to those OG looks. It's scary to think that that is retrofuturism now.

Reevesverse merge people piss me off more than Snyderverse people. Like literally everyone involved in both the DCU and the Reevesverse have said it's not going to happen like a gazillion fucking times and yet you still see posts trying to cope and seethe this crackheaded wish fulfillment bs into existence. I stg James and Matt could literally upload a video together literally telling everyone "guys seriously we're not incorporating The Batman into the DCU Matt wants to keep his universe separate and we have our own plans for Batman" and these morons will still try to figure out a way it will work. It's "here's how Bernie can still win" levels of delusion at this point.

Also wtf do you mean "it works perfectly" like think about it for more than 5 seconds. How are you going to reconcile a universe that tries to make Batman's villains realistic with a universe where metahumans have existed for thousands of years? And don't give me that "it works if you make it a prequel" it takes place in the same decade as CC and Superman. If the only way it works in continuity is in this one specific instance why even bother incorporating it at all?

I get it, I liked The Batman too. But I also liked X-Men '97 and that doesn't mean I want it to be part of the MCU. The Batman is great partially BECAUSE it's isolated and not tied into any cinematic universe bullshit. I didn't see any clamoring for it to be added into the DCEU when it came out, what makes this any different?
