n October 1993, Tupac Shakur shot two off-duty white police officers in Atlanta after witnessing them harassing a Black man. The officers, drunk and aggressive, reportedly pulled a gun during the confrontation. Tupac, legally armed, fired back—hitting one officer in the leg and the other in the buttocks. He stayed at the scene and was arrested.

As the case unfolded, it was revealed that the officers had lied, were intoxicated, and were carrying stolen weapons. With that evidence, all charges against Tupac were dropped. The incident became part of his legend—proof to many that he wasn’t afraid to stand up to abuse of power, no matter who it came from.

Trusting the process even when it makes no sense is the biggest test of faith to me. Losing my grandparents so close to each other really tested me. It felt like so many doors were slamming around me but God calmed me down when he said

"I have to close this door so you can walk through another .. it's ok just trust me"
