 001.  was  your  character  “blipped”  out  ?  if  so  ,  what  did  they  return  to  and  how  is  it  affecting  them  .  if  not,  who  important  to  them  was  blipped  out,  and  what  did  it  feel  like  after  those  five  years  have  passed  ?

 kate  was  not  blipped  out  !  the  five  years  that  have  passed  were  slow  going  .  she  wasn’t  exactly  sure  what  was  going  on  so  she  did  some  private  investigation  work  .  they  also  continued  to  refine  their  craft  as  a  means  to  do  something  .

002.  where  are  they  living  ?  are  they  living  with  anyone  ?

 they’re  currently  living  in  an  apartment  in  manhattan  .  it’s  technically  one  of  their  aunt’s  properties  but  rarely  used  .

003.  why  is  your  character  affiliated  with  who  they’re  affiliated  with  ?

 with  kate’s  admiration  for  the  avengers  and  clint  ,  it’s  no  surprise  they’re  affiliated  with  shield  ,  sword  and  the  young  avengers  .  she  was  initially  recruited  to  join  shield  .  however  ,  given  how  most  members  of  the  young  avengers  are  in  sword  ,  they  were  transferred  to  be  with  the  rest  of  their  team  .

          “   yeah,   it   counts—have   you   ever   seen   me   misplace   something?     actually,   no.     don’t   answer   that.   ”     noh   interrupts   before   they   can   even   form   an   answer.     “   you   try   living   in   this   earth   as   a   banished   alien,   see   just   how   easy   it   is   to   get   your   life   together.   ”     a   dramatic   sigh   leave   lips.     and   that’s   just   what   it   is—theatrics,   for   he   essentially   has   been   pardoned   by   the   country   and   the   avengers.     and   yet,   doesn’t   miss   an   opportunity   to   use   it   as   an   excuse.     “   i   think   it’s   pretty   awesome.     everything   i   say   can   easily   be   turned   into   a   catchphrase.   ”     nostalgia   weighs   between   them,   lingers   beneath   the   lighthearted   banter.     it’s   a   repetitive   circle   of   acting   on   impulse   to   backtracking   and   regretting,   while   simultaneously   pretending   like   hearts   were   never   broken   because   of   it.     what   they   have   is   fragile,   and   he   can’t   help   but   weaken   it   even   further.     after   all,   it’s   in   his   nature   to   act   first   and   regret   later.     free   arm   loops   around   their   neck,   lips   nuzzle   a   kiss   against   her   temple.     “   c’mon   now,   bishop.     let’s   go   get   your   pizza.   ”     and   just   before   heading   towards   the   cashier,   he   halts.     hand   pats   down   jacket   pockets   awkwardly   (  for   he   still   keeps   three   lp’s   under   his   arm  )   in   search   of   his   wallet.     “  oh,   shit   —   ”     brows   drawn   to   imply   confusion,   only   to   shoot   up   in   a   theatrical   realisation.     “   could   you   pay   for   these?     i   think   i   forgot   my   wallet.   ”

          “  IT  STILL  SOUNDS  LIKE  excuses  to  me  .  ”  they  keep  their  tone  light  and  playful  .  kate  can’t  relate  to  living  as  a  banished  alien  so  the  most  they  can  do  is  empathize  ...  through  sarcastic  comments  .  what  can  they  say  ?  it’s  just  in  her  nature  .  and  they  really  can’t  help  it  ,  noh  makes  it  too  easy  sometimes  .  “  catchphrase  ?  that  sounds  cheesy  as  hell  ,  ”  she  chuckles  .  as  his  arm  loops  around  her  neck  ,  they  can’t  help  but  lean  into  his  touch  .  freezes  momentarily  at  the  feeling  his  his  lips  pressing  against  her  temple  .  it’s  teetering  towards  dangerous  territory  .  they  weren’t  a  couple  anymore  and  well  !  this  certainly  makes  it  feel  like  they  still  are  .  kate  tries  to  brush  off  that  feeling  ,  grateful  that  noh’s  changed  the  subject  .  “  woooooow  .  you  ask  a  person  to  accompany  you  on  this  journey  to  rebuild  your  collection  and  you  forget  your  wallet  ?  ”  ton  shifts  to  that  of  playful  disapproval  .  shakes  their  head  and  tsks  .  she’s  already  reaching  for  her  wallet  .  “  can’t  believe  i’m  paying  for  this  AND  pizza  .  this  is  so  rude  .  ”

      eyes  widen  almost  comically  ,   nearly  bulging  out  with  excitement  ,   because  they  never  thought  they’d  actually get this far  .    “  wait  -  ”   places  soft  hands  on  both  of  kate’s  cheeks  ,   guides  the  other  to  look  directly  at  her  .    “  you  really  mean  it ?  ”  

          THEY  NOD  AND  SHRUG  .  moves  to  place  her  hands  over  cassie’s  .  there’s  absolutely  nothing  wrong  with  kissing  your  friends  .  “  i  mean  ...  yeah  ?  were  you  kidding  ?  because  if  you  were  kidding  ,  i’m  still  down  either  way  .  ”

          kate  tends  to  trust  their  instincts  when  it  comes  to  making  decisions  .  however  ,  they’ve  also  learned  that  the  results  will  sometimes  land  her  in  a  less  than  stellar  outcome  .  despite  their  stubbornness  ,  she’s  learned  to  make  decisions  by  trusting  both  instincts  and  logic  .

 death:  is  there  anything  in  your  muse’s  life  that  they  should  be  letting  go  of  ?

 their  parents  .  they’re  not  good  people  .  with  a  dad  that  was  more  than  happy  to  fake  her  mother’s  death  and  a  mom  who  was  willing  to  pretend  to  stay  dead  doesn’t  exactly  do  wonders  for  kate’s  trauma  .  they  tell  themselves  that  they’ve  fully  let  them  go  but  do  find  themselves  thinking  about  them  from  time  to  time  .

 star:  what  does  your  muse  take  inner  comfort  in  knowing  ?  what  guides  your  muse  ?

 kate  takes  comfort  in  knowing  that  she  has  friends  who  have  their  back  .  it’s  hard  to  find  such  ride  or  die  friends  .  they  would  know  !  and  in  terms  of  what  guides  them  ?  she’d  joke  and  say  she’s  impulsive  so  there’s  no  guide  .  however  in  reality  ,  it’s  their  need  to  prove  themselves  as  a  hero  without  powers  and  the  little  found  family  that  guide  them  .
