You know what the biggest problem with people our age is? Aimlessness. Our socially-induced highs do not understand the lengthy processes of purpose and fulfillment. Yet. Quite a dilemma. But here's the thing. Aimlessness can be enjoyed. Being a part of The Grid has made me realize that. Seeing it rise from a dilapidated plot to a marvel of raw imagination was an absolute pleasure, and to experience people falling in love with it is truly magical. For people who don't know about The Grid, it's a community centre for all forms of artists, musicians, writers, thinkers and enthusiasts; it's for everyone. We've got pool, foosball, video and board games, a performing stage, a library and a cafe; the works. For many, it's a retreat; a place where people can rediscover people, where ideas are more talked about than people, where we experiment, play, relax, love and heal, as people. The joy of knowing and being part of a non-restricted community is thrilling; something Pakistanis seldom get to experience on a greater level. For me, The Grid is a manifestation of the 3 values I hold dear to my soul; creativity, friendship, and diversity. Seems fitting to say that I know where my heaven on Earth is. I urge you to help people know more about this extraordinary place. Like, share, write, post, do whatever you want! But let people know that there's a part of their hearts that requires a place like The Grid. Because sadly, not many know what's in their own hearts. Let's change that :) (at The Grid)
