I started really fleshing out an AU, where MK turns evil. The build up is kinda important, so I started working on going through the episode and heavily refrencing some shots, since, in the AU, something important happens when MK breaks free from Wukong's magical restraints.

Thing is tho, that I realised that's just way too much work for me, when I'm also going to school and got two presentations and a research paper to finish.(+ editing footage for a club +a job +ADHD)

That means I'll be going through this a lot more tightly. I wanted to do it storyboard style, but I'm reconsidering. Each of these shots took at least an hour(prolly more). I need a quicker format so I can at least finish his origin story(Maybe single panel comics). Or just kill my inner perfectionist and leave these at the lineart stage, instead of coloring in grayscale.

Buut even though I'll be doing things differently, I still thought it'd be too much of a waste not to show these off(I am an attention whore after all). And they were very fun exercises in background art, perspective and expression, since my art is usually very static.

I am absolutely not sure if this breaks copyright laws in any way lmao.

Runaan's new outfit: thigh straps, no shirt (but this time without the bruises and dark circles under his eyes), and an Ethari being very clingy At All Times. Ethari is essential to Runaan's new fashion look.

At the very least Ethari won't be letting Runaan out of his sight and will probably say something along the lines of "I lost you once and I'm not going to lose you again. So whatever it is that you're going to do we're going to do it together."

Also Runaan probably has a closet full of the same clothing so you know that Ethari will just be stuffing a few of his outfits into a bag to take with him when he finds out that he's alive.

Maybe Runaan's new outfit will have some more swirlies, Moon designs or crystals, especially if he loses an arm and Ethari builds him a magical prosthetic as a replacement. Then he can match his new arm to his outfits or vice versa.
