A little more monkeying around. "Motorized Chopsticks"
More monkey business. Monkey Dots, or maybe Ape Dots. Sometimes the quicker experiments and things in progress are better than the "masterpieces"
One of my favorite apes. "Swiss Army Monocle"
So let's continue with the old monkey business. A demo done for the Illustration Academy. "Tik, tink, tik"
Apparently I've done more simians than I think I've done. "Won't Melt"
Here's the scan before the finish of a commission I've been working on for awhile. I do this so I can step back and look if there is anything else it might need. If I don't do this I often keep adding stuff until I overdo it. "Kong vs. Aliens" is a 12x24 triptych-ish acrylic painting.
4x6 "Boardumb"
This 4x6 is a tribute to a painting I did years ago, "Crab Juggler"
I can now post another commission "Heart" 8x10 inches, acrylic on panel. Maybe I should patent a fish firing food gun.
"I, Tentacle" Weird even for me.
Probably the cleverest piece in the history of clever pieces. "Spugk" or live long and slobber.
So after recently re-posting a painting from an ongoing Potter series yesterday I had a request to post the whole series so far. I do take requests now and then. Here they are in order of appearance.
Yupo 4x6 "The Cyclaurian and Cyclpoean Bunny Make a Perfect Pair"
"Bartholomew Bird Tends to Fly in Circles"
4x6s keep coming. "Aliens Tapped My Head"
Way back I did this painting as part of the Earth Day celebration for the Society of Illustrators. "Narwhal Rain" was a pivotal piece for me.
Let's move onto the next 4x6, "Bonsai Mohawk"
