If your Final Cut project gives you a “General Error: Wrong Type” error, try opening it in Text Edit, renaming it, saving it as a .txt file, then changing the extension back to .fcp and reopening it in Final Cut. It will rework the corrupted file and you can save your project! Here’s a support community discussion.

Also make sure to rename it something really stupid so you can keep working on your project with full integrity.

Bought a small iced coffee and egg salad sandwich. They're kind of disorganized here. My coffee was ready before I got the the register, and I could have totally not paid and nobody would have noticed. But I didn't because I'm an upstanding citizen with good moral backbone. I hope you're watching Starbucks executives who I assume read my Tumblr.

Also, they have a separate room here for working that consists of one table surrounded by dirty mirrors. It's creepy.

B'Way & 63, B'Way & 60th, W10th & Hudson, 9th & 43rd.

Back in the grind.

-A woman bought a drink at 60th & Broadway, headed north, then tried to return it for not being sweetened at 63rd & Broadway.

-A regular at 10th & Hudson compared his barista to Peewee Herman, then proceeded to tell me how hot the tattooed girl who just left is for 15 minutes.

-I Told an Irishman (Northern) the best way to get downtown from Columbus Circle. He thought I was lying when I told him the subway was air conditioned.

And the quest continues.

#36 - SONY: Located within the Sony store on 56th & Madison. Nowhere to sit inside, so you have to go to the outside courtyard. It's listed on the Sbux site, so it counts.

#37 - Worldwide Plaza II: Literally 2 storefronts down from #34. Compare the pictures, it's the exact same layout. Creepy.

#38 - Greenwich Avene: They had a nice little lending library, which is a first. Also, first celebrity sighting, for Amy Poehler. We also saw a crazy woman who kept talking about being off her meds... guess which one came up to us and asked what we were writing about...

I foolishly decided to walk the 20+ blocks to get here. Ugh, May flowers my ass.

I shared a small table with a nice old woman who told me not to share it with anyone else when she left... I've already let her down.

One of two locations in Worldwide plaza, which is apparently the official name for that courtyard you can go to and drink tons of cheap margaritas at.

I was excited to get a frappucino half off, but then found out their 'happy hour' promotion had ended, so I bought one anyway at full price.

I hate it so much when marketing works.

I'm sitting right next to the employees only door, and when it was opened I accidentally caught a glimpse of a Barista with her pants down. I don't know which of us will be more embarrassed when she comes out.
