born and raised in los angeles. her mother came to the usa from norway at the beginning of her tender twenties in search of fame but instead married richard yang, a well-known chinese entrepreneur, who gave her financial security and also the chance to never work. her mother took full advantage of that and when billie was born, she knew that despite her loveless marriage, she could always use billie to get more money from richard.
both of them were careless parents in their own way, as richard never showed much interest to his daughter and janne ... was well janne. sometimes controlling, other times distant, but ultimately she cared too much about irrelevant things.
billie started modeling around the age of 7, all thanks to janne who had kept booking her various photoshoots with guess, but back at that time, things just weren’t taking off.
her big break came when she switched agencies and moved to new york. she was still in high school but ultimately managed to graduate despite her busy schedule.
billie debuted during new york fashion week when she was only 18, and things from there on just kept lining up. she was booking shows after shows, signing deals, getting a new apartment and living by herself.
she didn’t go to uni / focused on work and the model life that had seduced her in a second. the admiration, attention, money, partying, it was simply addicting.
her thing became dating famous people that always showered her with presents, including cars, as the maserati that she currently drives was a gift from one of her ex boyfriends. material girl, half of the stuff she owns were gifts from her exes.
however, life took a turn when she started and ended a relationship with niccolo and well ended up having his kid.
not long after she found out, she was forced to terminate a contract that she had signed with victoria’s secret.
she stopped going out, started wearing more loose clothes, basically hiding for the most part. it’s only after francesca was born that she started making appearances again. her mother was disappointed, and so was billie since she lost a lot of deals and contracts which prevented her from earning money.
not long after cesca turned 3 months, billie went back to work, but again, it’s a struggle. however, she’s really trying her best since she wants the best for her daughter and she truly loves her the most. there were moments when cesca was definitely behind the stage with her, being babysat by all the other models.
she rarely ever shows her daughter to the public, but it is known that she has a daughter. only her first name has been revealed to the public, as most assume it’s francesca yang.
billie no longer drinks nor parties, chosing to instead stay in a good form for the sake of her daughter. but ofc, there’s a part of her that also suffers due to the fact that she wants more from her career and having a kid nearly shattered all that.
