I don't think enough people understand the difference between capitalist theory and capitalist reality... Like yeah on paper capitalism is a perfect self-correcting system because it doesn't take a lot of real world variables in to account (for example how shitty people are and how far they'll go to find exploits). Same for communism and other systems.

That doesn't mean all of these theories are worthless, it just means that if you want a certain ideology reflected in your economic system you are going to have to do some work to avoid exploitation. For example by having a FAIR minimum wage, by preventing the formation of monopolies etc (in the case of capitalism).

No economic system will ever work as long as we just follow a theory without looking at how it is doing in the real world with some humanity.
