Rosemary Isles: Chapter 2a Update
Hi everyone! I know I've been MIA for a while, but I'm back with a new content update for Rosemary Isles. In this update, I'm bringing you the first (bigger) part of Chapter 2, with the second part arriving in April.
Alright. Let's talk details!
The update adds Chapter 2a (ca. 40,500 words).
I split Chapter 2 into two parts. The first one is now available in the public demo. It focuses on gathering people to join you and Neri in your future endeavors. By the end of this part, you will have met all four ROs available in the game (at least for now).
The second part (ca. 10,000 words) is already available in the Patreon EA. It's more linear and main quest-focused. And ehh, how should I say this... Something big happens near the end. If you liked the Elder Crystals (my old WIP), you might enjoy it... đ
Both parts have more flirt options than in Chapter 1. Originally, I planned to tie the romances to ROs' quests and scenes, but I had a change of heart, and now I'm putting these options wherever they feel right. This does mean some ROs have more options than others at this point, but it should all balance itself out later on.
I'm still trying to figure out how to make the "let's kick things off" part of the game feel organic, but hopefully it's not too bad as is. If you see any moments where you think to yourself, "It would be nice to have more of XYZ here to make it all feel more earned", please, do tell me.

Also, I just wanted to tell you that I chose a female K and the text sometimes refers to her as "Kael" instead of "Kaelia". Below are the screenshots! I hope that helps.

I see what the problem is. Kael is actually supposed to be a nickname for Kaelian/Kaelia later on, buuut I may have gotten ahead of myself and used it a few times instead of the proper name variable.

I'm back with news! I submitted the game to Hosted Games at the beginning of September, and things have progressed super fast. If everything goes as planned, the game may be released as soon as next week, possibly on October 2, 2025.
The next big post I make will be the day it drops, and it'll include all the links and such. I'm excited for all of you to play it!
PS. I've already started working on the next project. Like I mentioned before, high fantasy with romances, political conflicts, and factions, set in a beautiful archipelago world... Stay tuned! đ

In eldritch tales inheritance, does the MC always die if they stay behind?
Hi there!
No, not always. All background-specific endings by Chapter 5 lead to death except for one if you're an Egyptologist, but the two broader paths (the things you choose to investigate in earlier chapters) give you an option in Chapter 5 to opt out through determination and fear.
There are no ways to win with the horror, though. That's by design.

I can hardly believe it, but I'm here with the final content update for Eldritch Tales. It took me over a year, but the game is finally done. And I have to confessâŠI'm pretty glad that it is so. I think I'll need a break from writing horror for a good whileâŠ
This update includes Chapter 5 and the epiloguesâoverall, about 38.000 new words.
All the endings are already in the game, and the storyâas far as I can tellâis done. Now, I just need to do another round of edits, update the in-game codex, hopefully gather some feedback from you, guys, and then submit the game to Hosted Games.
This update also added achievements across the game. All unique endings lead to one, and there are also some non-ending-related ones in earlier chapters.
Important: A fresh save is likely necessary.
As for what happens next, I would be super grateful if some of you could test the game when you have the time and come back to me (either here or on the forum). I've run all the tests and edited most things many times already, but I obviously can't catch everything.
And once this is done, I'll submit the game to Hosted Games. đ
(And then, off to the next project I go. But that's for later!)

Eldritch Tales: Inheritance | July 22, 2025 Update
Hello, hello!
One of the final content updates is here! đ Sorry it took so long, but I started a vegetable garden this year, and life's been a bit of a quirky mess because of that ever since.
The update includes the second (bigger) half of Chapter 4, which is about 36.000 new words.
It provides more content connected to your background, things related to your friends, as well as various options to complete the game early. You get to decide whether you want to remain and continue investigating or retreat. In Chapter 5, there will be only two endings that won't be utterly horrible, and one of them is specific to the Egyptologist background.
To be safe, I'd recommend a fresh save, as I had to mess around with some variables.
I have already written about 26,500 words for Chapter 5, and the portion that's left is the connection between the end of Chapter 4 and the endings I wrote a while back. It shouldn't take long, a week if things go well. Once those are done, I'll return with another update.
After that, I'll need to write a few post-ending scenes (for non-bad endings), and that will complete the project. Then, another round of edits and submission to Hosted Games.
And about the future:
I'm already planning my next projectâa high fantasy set in a fictional archipelago-based world with a tech level similar to the classical era. It'll draw on ideas from Elder Crystals and Chronicles of Sekherion, but I've also taken the time to reimagine what fantasy means to me. I had to figure out why I couldn't finish those two projects, when fantasy isâby farâmy favorite genre.
Anyway! That's for later.
