AI really makes me want to kill myself. fuck you if you use it and i really mean it!
"well people 20 years ago were afraid of email and the internet and look where we are now"
if you cannot see how AI is different from email and other forms of technological advancement you are stupid
we were right to be afraid of the internet and email. fuck both of those things also.
AI really makes me want to kill myself. fuck you if you use it and i really mean it!
Hi! I'd like to see different ballet styles, productions and footage, and was wondering if you had links to some of them! Thank you so much.

ok guys but imagine how hard it's gonna hit if something good ever happens again
little yellow goldfinch doesn't even know he's just like flowers
…its been said before, but it bears repeating: i feel like a lot of people could stand to remember that fortress europe + ICE + border restrictions and policing around the world must be contextualised within an ongoing and severely worsening climate/biodiversity loss crisis that is actively making huge swathes of the third world uninhabitable viz. both rising temperatures and unproductive land and displacement and political crises/conflict over depleting resources, and that policies re. immigration and refugees now are both a response to those first waves of immigration and a testing ground for the er future. see also: climate chaos is coming - and the pinkertons are ready. it is a specific response to a crisis that is contiguous with a desire to continue expanding oil and coal and "dirty" energy capacity in the us AND with europe's continued expansion of both carbon fuel and green fuel simultaneously, all in the name of "national security" and "economic growth", in which security and growth of only particular forms and areas of the world are prioritised. it is a specific response to a crisis that has marked swathes of the world out as expendable both in terms of resource and people & which refuses any form of responsibility for "externalised costs". you may think yourself untouched, but it will affect you and sooner than you think.

hi friends, if any of you used to follow Amon (she was macaroot/ilovecrows1998/amonpdf and a diff url before that but i cant recall) ive just learned from her mom that she passed away last month. her and I had gotten close when we found out we were living in neighboring cities, i am so blessed to have gotten to know her and spend time with her. i know some of you may have been friends with her during the X-Files era on here so i figured it was worth sharing. please say a prayer and hug your friends extra tight today ❤️🩹

If you're in Maine or Philly or wherever the fuck Vance claimed DHS is going next, I BEG you to look at the rapid response and mutual aid networks and how they've been built in Portland, Chicago, and the Twin Cities, and start building your own version NOW.
Download signal if you haven't already. Pick a resistance pseudonym. Make a proton email that has no indicators to your real name. Start buying and printing whistles and whistle zines.
Organize your school patrols and foot patrols NOW. Talk to your community and your mercados and your Hmong and Somali grocery stores, ask them what support they need. Get "ICE are not welcome here" signage for businesses and homes. Familiarize yourself with the difference between an administrative warrant and a judicial warrant.
Learn how to take down a SALUTE report. PRACTICE salute reports. Learn, memorize, and embody radio etiquette for rapid response work.
Pick your lane: rapid response or mutual aid-- you can't do both, because rapid response often puts you in direct contact with ICE. They've been taking down plate numbers and leading responders back to their own homes here in the Twin Cities.
Remember that being under siege is a marathon, not a race. Try to remember that while your neighbors are being kidnapped in their underwear, from their own homes.
Meet your neighbors. Attend your city council meetings and demand separation ordinances NOW. Tell your congress people and representatives not to give ICE more money.
Prepare yourself to see high school children being stopped and harassed. 5 year olds being used as bait for their mothers. Old men being dragged out of their houses in underwear and Crocs simply because all of them are not white.
Be flexible, be ready to pivot on a dime as situations change. Be ready to be paranoid. Be ready to be distrusting of every Texas, New York, California, or Illinois license plate. Be ready to be suspicious of EVERY out of state license plate. Dark sedans and SUVs with extremely illegally tinted windows. Unreadable or missing plates.
No one will save you, save us, or save our neighbors but ourselves. No one is coming to help or protect us but us.

for anyone in or out of minneapolis, here’s a list of organizations on the ground out here daily helping people i haven’t seen mentioned by other posts sharing resources. most of these are south minneapolis located and/or focused because that’s where i’m located and i’m beyond caring about doxxing myself at this point
joyce uptown food shelf - no questions asked food pantry, in need of financial donations, at capacity for material ones
longfellow neighbors - community fund assisting with rent/utilities, healthcare, legal help and transport access, in need of financial donations
smitten kitten, wrecktangle pizza, and twin cities leather - accepting cash to be handed directly to people seeking refuge and assistance + material donations (specifically requesting menstrual products, baby products, and tobacco), if you are in person they are being physically targeted and stalked by ice agents trying to follow them on their distribution routes and have requested anyone able to show up physically and help drive them away
the familia barber studio - accepting material donations (nonperishable foods and toiletries) and financial donations for a food drive from tuesday 1/13 through saturday 1/17
LSFDistro and north country food alliance - lsfdistro is associated with ncfa as an anti food waste and food delivery service focused on the lake street area which has been targeted by ice agents since mid last year, both are accepting monetary donations, and lake street food distro is accepting material food donations (specifically requesting oil, butter, rice, flour, formula, and toiletries)
here is a mutual aid “clearinghouse” for additional organizations on the ground and direct assistance to families affected by the raids - when i can, i’ve just been scrolling through the list of gfm links at the bottom and donating to one at random
just wanted to reblog this with some quick updates and additions as of 1/20/26
updates:
joyce uptown food shelf - officially will be back open for food donations on friday, 1/30/26. in the meantime, please continue with donating money if possible!
longfellow neighbors - they exceeded their goal of $50k for rent, legal, transportation, and healthcare assistance!
smitten kitten - still accepting cash donations and amplifying mutual aid funds and causes daily on their instagram. they are no longer accepting material donations on site, but if you go they will redirect you to places that are!
wrecktangle pizza - at capacity for donations and closed for the foreseeable future!
twin cities leather - still accepting both cash and material donations on site, they have also asked for donations be made directly towards the purpose of keeping their doors open while they provide for the community. as things stand now they only have the funds to stay open for another two months. they have been hosting free 🖕🧊 t shirt printing in collaboration with a local artist - kurt and karri are gems and have been a massive safe space for community members during the past couple of weeks and it would be such a shame to see them close their doors.
the familia barber studio - closed donations as of 1/19 as they fulfill the needs of everyone that reached out to them for assistance!
LSFD & north country food alliance - still accepting both material and financial donations, specifically requesting money, butter, canned veggies and meat, dried beans, peanut butter, snacks, sugar, oil, and baby diapers
the same clearinghouse is still updating with local immigrant defense organizations and mutual aid funds
additions:
powwow grounds coffee - indigenous owned coffee shop, accepting money and a list of materials for both vulnerable people in minneapolis and rapid response/defenders, shown on their instagram (linked), definitely recommend supporting this one as a patron as well if you’re local!
whittier alliance - after conducting a training of over 800 people on rapid response and community defense against ICE, they are now accepting material donations to support their team of responders listed on their instagram, and have a page dedicated to mutual aid and organizations in need of support in the whittier neighborhood. if you are on the ground in minneapolis, you can stop by and pick up safety gear for protesting and observing.
again, these are places i’m familiar with who i don’t see getting mentioned on other mutual aid/fundraising posts and resources, and definitely not an exhaustive list of vetted and valuable sources of aid and protection for people of color in the twin cities! i encourage anyone local to add additional resources, though i do request that we focus on places prioritizing aid to non-white residents of the twin cities for obvious reasons
Hi reblogging to add my city council member Jason Chavez shared this fundraiser for specifically helping families in Phillips where a lot of families are currently sheltering in place and relying on their neighbors for supplies etc
We are a small collective of friends and community organizers working direct… Alexandria Gomez needs your support for Support Phillips Famil
phillips is one of the hardest hit neighborhoods in this whole nightmare and we need all the help we can get to support the most vulnerable members of our community. please consider helping to support my neighbors!!
how the fuck do you hate music
When I hear music all i feel or see or know is the devil
USAmericans are only upset because white citizens got killed. They'll go back to cheering the death of immigrants soon. Don't give them credit.
If we assume that Usamericans are completely incapable of popular struggle then we're just admitting defeat. If we do that we're no different from those assholes who think that every other country is a hive mind caricature. People protesting this is not only completely correct, it's also the first step for more people to realize the rot in the US system and struggle against it. Your attitude is completely defeatist and pointless.
For all my cynicism of my country, even this attitude ignores the mass on and off protests going on the last five years in the USA over non white citizens. Including the death of a black man *in the very city that ICE is now occupying*.
We've failed to build proactive change. We failed to stop, or lower, the killing of black people. We failed in stopping nearly every USA institution shipping every bomb and weapon imaginable to Israel. We're still failing to remember men like Keith Porter, who was also killed by ICE but not memorialized like Good or Pretti. However, I believe each iteration of mass protest has become more organized, and slowly building an actionable labor base. The fact that even on social media websites we're seeing much more open condemnation of dems for doing jack shit is shocking given even just 2024--let alone that abolishing ICE is a popular position outright. I don't think it is enough, but I think it is the first genuinely positive steps I've seen in this country stopping its own shit.
