The last project I just wrapped up was a swim team I have photographed for over ten years. It was nice to hear a mom comment on how she has enjoyed the progression of all of the swim team pictures of her three children since they started. This year meant a lot since it will be her oldest's last year.

I'm so spoiled. Once you have seen and photographed sports through a telephoto lens from the sidelines, or a concert from in front of the stage, or the NYC fireworks from the crows nest on the Intrepid, things are never the same from the stands. With sports there is nothing like being behind the goal or net. The action intensifies as the other team gets closer and tries to score.
