Whenever this guy goes on his monthly business trips, I always find myself looking through my pictures, and I often find pictures I never knew we had. Like this one, for instance.

This picture makes me happy. I am very excited for the next chapter of our lives together, and happy to announce that... we... are..... moving in together! Haha. Surprise.

This is huge for both of us. We have never lived with anyone else other than families and roommates (friends). So, this is a step into our future, a big step into our relationship and I’m so excited.

Well, I’m not gonna lie, I’m also very nervous. It’s a new journey, who knows what to expect? But I have faith, and if something doesn’t work out for whatever reason, I believe we’ll be okay.

Can’t wait for December :)

This year, I had planned to celebrate my 4th of July with relatives from all over so-cal to witness San Diego’s epic Big Bay Boom. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned, so this year I ended up just spending it with my immediate family. We had a quaint little dinner on our porch, something we always wanted to do, and finally did it. It was perfect. So, although the original plan didn’t happen, it was a nice turn out. I hope everyone had a pleasant Fourth of July :)

Bid’ness

This is going to sound pretty snobby of me, but I can’t help it.

Never did I think this relationship that I’m in would lead me to sitting around waiting for my man to come back from his business trip. And before y’all say “you mean, ‘business trip’ ”, it ain’t even like that!

I’m not complaining, I’m just surprised at myself. I remember growing up and telling myself, “Bimbie, don’t date someone who goes on trips” because I’ve heard stories of men partaking in infidelity while on business trips. A family friend was complaining about how lawyers / business men / doctors, etc are so untrustworthy during business trips, and not gonna lie - it scarred me, kinda. Yet here I am, just chillin’ with my boyfriend’s roommates (while enjoying their company) waiting for my man to come home safely.

In a way, I like it. Is that narcissistic? I feel like it is. I like (more like love, if I’m being honest with myself lol) knowing my man is on a trip to help further the company he is part of and making big-kid decisions. Like, how crazy is that? You’re part of a team that expects choices from you and whatever you place on the table, they go with it. Did I just enter the big kid universe?

It’s a different atmosphere, let me tell ya. Obviously, this isn’t a high school / college / young adult relationship anymore. It’s gotten on a whole different level. We’re passed level 7, and entering level 81. Slow down, adulthood. Let me enjoy my youth really quick please.

To digress a bit, I think the reason why I feel like I’m entering a grown-up stage because I’m still in school, and being in school is still being a kid. Am I right? Or am I just being a little girl.... Yeah.

This is probably what I get for screwing shit up at school. And I thought I was doing so well, too.

Then, I fail a course. Naturally, I jump back to school so I don’t lose focus on my studies. But enrolling in a community college was not easy. To top it off, the teachers are fucking assholes. Possibly the worst teachers I’ve ever had, and believe me, I had some that just needed to take their stick out of their asses.

If a student needs help, NORMAL professors reassure you with guidance. No, not these bougie ass community college professors. “Maybe you should read the instructions”. Bitch, I would, if there were any instructions to be found.

Not all community college teachers are assholes like he is, but seriously - don’t even both being a fucking teacher if you are just going to be a fucktard.

Had I not fucked up in my legit school, doing legit things, and going places - I wouldn’t be in this shit hole. But I guess you gotta tough it out to get to where you really wanna be - out of fucking school.

I just received news that a certain relative wasn't able to make it to his own mother's 90th birthday, because his wife didn't allow him to. 

LOL. Like..... wait..... what?! 

If you hold your man back from certain things, like... let's say seeing his family or even his mom for example, I have absolutely no respect for you. I also have no respect for your man, but that's a different topic. 

I really hope to see you again. I'll greet you from afar, give you a nice smile, and a warm hug... then wait patiently for the right time to just fucking slap the shit outta your face.

Aw, mane.

It's been about two weeks since I chopped off my hair, and people still give me beef for it.

Everyone (who knows me) reacts the same way. "Omg, you cut your hair! WHY?!" And when I explain, it's as if they understand what it was like being in my shoes with thick, long hair. Don't get me started on the nights when I tried sleeping and my own hair attacks me.

And when I finish explaining why I chopped my hair, they tell me "oh, girl, but it was so nice!" Ugh, I get it! I had nice, long, thick, virgin hair, and I am so thankful - but really, it's just a haircut. It will grow back eventually.

Sigh, it's so hard pleasing people. And when you've pleased yourself, they give you beef for it! SMH.
