part of being an adult is figuring out what eveyone else's definition of "going crazy" is. to you it is not sleeping for 60 hours, writing 80k words in one sitting and expiriencing enough anxiety to kill a horse. to beth from accounting its buying a ticket to Columbus, Ohio. and to your friend its consuming so much ketamine you lose all of your posessions and wake up with five broken bones in a ditch somewhere and then proceeding to do it again the next day. to your other friend its writing a letter to their favourite actress about how much they appreciate her work. to your neighbour its laughing loudly in a grocery store whilst in pajamas. maya from uni hears the voice of her dead father making jokes with no punchlines and she considers that to be quite normal - to her going crazy would be hearing her husband instead. your downstairs neighbour will take night walks naked sometimes and claim there is nothing weird about him. there are literally no rules to life and all meaning is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm curious, do you have any thoughts on how Paige lost his eye? Do they have any extra fear around the piglins about it? Does she have a cool gnarly scar under the cloth or was it only just her eye that got got?

Actually they handled it pretty well... probably because of the constant nonstop adrenaline of being in the Nether. Definitely became more wary of piglins with crossbows. But otherwise, made sure to ask everyone if they thought it looked cool.

(Pierre said it did, Cap sighed and said it did just to get Paige back to work, Vidi told them to stop mucking around and Vici said it looked so cool, they should have the same for the other eye)

They weren't that much of a super shot previously, so losing depth perception... didnt even affect them that much ahaha

and.. maybe we'll see how they look under there....

hi brightgoat i went really far in my minecraft world, so far i know i probably will never come back there, but i found a large plains village with a cleric and a nitwit chasing a calico cat and i almost cried :( in another universe nil is not suffering every 5 minutes

Oh also for the record, they can use any pronouns, all these guys are genderless to me. Polly can be a he/she/they/whatnot, as the same for all of them.

Johnny is based off of the in-game 'Johnny' easter egg, and Polly is the 'passive pillager' thing.

is there any sort of taboo about pillagers and vindicators "dating"? since they were separated based on strength and merit, and illagers in general are so hierarchical?

what i'm asking is, is the paige and vidi yuri forbidden. are they forbidden romancing each other in the middle of a death match. will they get married by the cap like will and elizabeth in pirates of the caribbean

also how are the relationship taboos among the illagers in general? like could a pillager and an evoker be together despite status differences?

Between Pillagers and Vindicators? Nah, no taboo. However, it's sometimes not seen as plausible due to how far apart the two are physically, they wouldn't get to hang out much.

Sometimes it's side eyed and viewed as a Pillager trying to sleep their way into the upper ranks, or a Vindicator taking advantage of one.

What IS taboo is either of those dating an Evoker. Even amongst Evokers themselves, relationships are rare and are often behind closed doors, secretive. Evokers are discouraged (and even penalised for) from having children, as there can be a conflict of interest that way, and magic isn't genetic anyway.

There have probably been conflicts with nepotism and an Evoker parent trying to force magic out of their child so that the child can be an Evoker too.

So no, Vidi and Paige wouldn't be forbidden. But nobody's betting on them either probably-

please, am i the only Voidpet fan on Tumblr? Or is voidpet REALLY THAT underrated of a fandom

Anyway for those who dont know what voidpet is its a pokemon-inspired franchise about so called Voidpets that are named after and resemble an emotion

There are 3 games in this franchise, 1 book and an upcoming anime abt this

The games: Voidpet web app (never played it so idrk), Voidpet garden (mental health game, HIGHLY recommended if you have depression or other serious mental health problems bc it actually REALLY helped me) and Voidpet dungeon (fighting game abt this franchise)

The book is called Hands of Greed and i havent bought it yet so idk

Does glen have a favorite villager they’ve met?

The Farmer! The Farmer was the first Villager she met, as seen here.

Glen learned about the Overworld flora and fauna through them, as well as their language, much to the Farmer's own surprise.

Just when they got used to the giant bipedal piglike creature from a different dimension following them around, Glen started speaking to them.

Glen became somewhat familiar with the rest of the Village too, but mostly stuck to the Farmer. She never really became PART of the Village itself though. From their perspective she was almost like a mythical being that visits every now and then. Better eat your veggies or 'The Glen' is gonna getcha.

The only one who came the closest to just seeing her as a regular person was the Farmer.

Steve watched this happen in real time, and realised the language between themselves and the rest of the mobs must be a unique one.
