Bunny Fact: If you have a confident and sleepy bun, chances are you've seen them flop and roll, flop and stretch, or flop right out, such as the case with this guy. But did you know rabbits will also sleep with their eyes half open, or even completely open? It's a fact: bunnies will sleep any way they can get it.

Bunny fact: Most people think that rabbits are a completely silent animal. BUT MOST PEOPLE ARE WRONG. Rabbits make lots of different noises! For example, when they are content, they will softly grind their teeth.

Rabbits will also often make quiet (to incredibly loud) honking noises. They mean different things on different occasions. For example, Prufrock the Black Lop would make the "Honks of Discovery" when he was snuffling around outside his cage searching for hidden treats. Roderick the Fawn Dwarf would grunt loudly at Baby the Hotot when she got in his face. 

On occasion, rabbits will also go "SPROING!" and fly strait into the air.

Bunny Fact: Sleepy Bunnies

Rabbits are crepescular. This means that they are most active during the early morning and early evening. This also means that the best time to snuggle your bunny (if your bunny enjoys a good snuggle) is during the daytime when they are at their sleepiest!* 

Does your bunny enjoy taking naps in their poopbox? That's totally normal! (Smelly, but normal!) Bunnies see their litterbox as a safe place; safe places are sometimes the spots most heavily scent marked and therefore best for napping.
