Especially that last image. Abolish keeping it together long enough to make sure Morcant is okay, and it's only as he walks away from the situation that it hits him. He almost lost him.

Abolish suddenly slammed with emotions that he repressed so deep he didn't even know he was repressing them. Abolish who felt fear one singular time - as a CHILD - and never let himself feel it again, suddenly confronted with the fact he, despite his best efforts, does in fact CARE.

And you know once that dam breaks it's gonna SHATTER.

I think you'd probably have to put him in that Situation after a long string of Other Situations - and I like the idea of it being post Cure, because I like the idea that Abolish got hit with the Vampire Big Emotions thing during the short period he was a vampire, and after the cure he *can* go back to Mr Repress Until I Die but it takes effort he hasn't had to put in for a while.
