Bucky buckled Amy into her carseat. He looked at the clock and mentally c ursed. They were going to be late because Amy decided it would be fun to make it rain cheerios this morning. He shut the door and climbed into the drivers seat and started towards the school.

The reporters were getting more ridiculous in their new titles, all squawking their theories about the mysterious vigilante roaming the night. Instead of focusing on the deeds done, they were all too fixated on trying to find out the vigilante’s gender.

"Ridiculous. Shows what the media truly cares about." The newspaper was tossed in the trash, the woman lacing up her sneakers.

Bucky flicked on the radio after he;d dopped Amy off. He shook his head as they started talking about the mysterious vigilante again. He was getting tired of hearing about them, it seemed like that was the only topic they were interested in. He flicked off the radio and pulled into work, He had a feeling today was going to be a long day.

Bucky was woken up by a solid weight landing on his chest, He opened his eyes. “Good morning Princess” he said, smiling. He sat up and tickled her. "Daddy, daddy stop" Amy said, squirming away. “Time to get you ready for school.”

She wouldn’t have time to say hello to James and Amy, not today. The gym coach rushed to work, making sure the gym was in perfect condition for the students. Her job was always under fire because one day someone would shut her down because ‘kids don’t need gym class’. When that day came, she’d have to become a math teacher.

Bucky stretched and looked to the side. He smiled when he saw a mop of blonde hair sticking out from underneath the blanket. ‘She must’ve had another bad dream’ he thought to himself. He ruffled her hair and closed his eyes, drifting back to sleep.

The woman passed out on her bed, waking up early the next morning to clean up after herself. Her suit would need to be washed and she’d need to tend to her bruises.

I really just hope that Amy doesn’t point them out when I go over there tonight.
