Am finally taking the plunge and transferring my stuff to a secondary blog, attached to my main. Current blog has been renamed to biotics-and-headshots, new one is just the original bioticsandheadshots. Since I have a lot of fics with 'Read More' this blog will stay intact but dead. New stuff will be (I'm being hopeful here) posted to the new one.

Long time, no see everyone! I still exist, I am still around. But because I have two primary account tumblrs I...fail at keeping up to date with both of them.

I've long been considering recombining this tumblr with my main primary account but as a sideblog instead of just content on the regular. Will keep things cleaner but also allow me to do better at staying up to date with things. I wish tumblr made it easier to combine though because, right now, my only option is to create the new sideblog, reblog ALL my content from here, and then refollow everyone on main. Which is...ugh!

Still somewhat undecided but if you see a random sims blog start following you, chances are it's me!

SHEPARD: I'm working WITH the Nazis, not FOR the Nazis. Yes, I wear their uniform, take their money, and captain a Nazi ship with a Nazi crew, but I don't answer to them.

KAIDAN: And those two behind you?

SHEPARD: Who, the Gestapo agents? All right, Miranda is Hilter's right hand, but she's chill.

KAIDAN: Nazis are racists.

SHEPARD: Technically, sure, but they let me have an Asian and Latino on my ship. How racist can they be?

KAIDAN: They murder innocents.

SHEPARD: Those experiments and executions we saw? Those death camp rumors? Meh. I have nothing to do with that.

KAIDAN: Didn't the Nazis brutally murder your comrades out of passing curiosity and leave you traumatized?

SHEPARD: That was years ago. My work now is more important.

KAIDAN: Wait. Don't you talk to Hilter directly? Take his orders?

SHEPARD: Yeah, but I'm really sarcastic and rude about it.

KAIDAN: So, you want me to desert the military? I've worked my whole life to get this far. I'll be a traitor working WITH the enemy.

SHEPARD: Tell them your mother's sick. No one will know. Dr. Chakwas figured it out.

KAIDAN: If I join the Nazis for you, how does it help?

SHEPARD: We blow up a secret base and get extra time to prepare for global annihilation.

KAIDAN: What if our military doesn't use the time to prepare?

SHEPARD: They have to prepare. Otherwise, my work with the Nazis will be for nothing.

KAIDAN: You don't think working with the Nazis undermines your credibilty to get them to prepare? A war crimes trial might distract from your message.

SHEPARD: That's their problem. I'm giving them time.

KAIDAN: More time for the Nazis to prepare their invasion. Our chances of defeating the Reapers will be even worse splint between two two fronts.

SHEPARD: Enough talk. If you're loyal and love me, you'll join me as I work with the Nazis to do good things.

KAIDAN: I'll never join the Nazis.

SHEPARD: Everyone else joined the Nazis for me. One of our friends was broke, living in the gutters, gangs out to kill him, but he gave all that up for me. He agreed to work with the Nazi, because he's loyal.

KAIDAN: Bye, Shepard.

SHEPARD: Worst friend around. Come on, Gestapo, back to our Nazi ship. I'm done with this place.

A few things I (a fanfiction writer) want you to know

I write fanfiction because I love the characters and ships I write. I’m not a published author, nor am I trying to become one. I’m here because I got obsessed with a stupid tv show. That’s it.

Kudos and/or comments fuel me more than you can imagine.

Every day, I get a ‘You’ve got Kudos!’ email. Every day, I open it. I take note of which of my fics have been given kudos. I take note of the usernames I find there. If you’ve left kudos on one of my fics before, I’ll recognize you. I take a moment to appreciate your support. I feel validated and inspired after this.

When someone comments on one of my fics for the first time, I go ‘Oh hey there, new friend. Welcome to my world.’

If you’ve commented on one of my fics more than once, I know you. I’ve checked out your profile, your works, your bookmarks. When I see your username, I feel like I’m meeting a friend. I’m like ‘This is the person who likes the same rarepair I do.’ - ‘This is the lover of fluff/smut/angst fics.’ I remember.

I read every comment I ever get, many of them more than once. I try to answer them all. I’m not always fast with that, but I promise you, I appreciate the hell out of your feedback. Sometimes people ask me why I’m grinning so dumbly down at my phone, and many times it’s because I just got a new comment. You’re making my day with this.

Sometimes I get a comment on a WIP I haven’t updated in a while, and in most cases, it motivates me to get the next chapter out. You’re reminding me why I started writing this story. You’re making me want to finish it.

When I feel down and unable to write, I go back to the comments on stories that mean a lot to me personally. They give me new life. I treasure them. You have no idea how long they stick with me.

My ask box is always open. You want to express an opinion on my writing anonymously? You have a prompt, an idea, a wish? You probably don’t know how easy I am to persuade to write something. Honestly, try it.

No fic is too old to comment on it. Never.

If you’re too shy to leave a comment, you are valid. I’m happy to have you as a reader. I’m a crazy fangirl like you. I’m dying to talk to you. If you can’t, that’s perfectly fine though.

If you don’t know what to comment, believe me when I say that it doesn’t matter as long as it isn’t rude. You’re too tired to leave a proper comment? I read fics at 2am too my friend, I understand. You don’t know how to put your thoughts into words? You can literally leave me a HI and I’ll be happy about it.

If you’re too shy to comment in English because you’re not a native speaker, you’re valid. You’re good enough to read fics in this language, you can be proud of that. I know how to use a translator. You may comment in whatever language you want to. I’m not a native speaker either, I’ve long stopped trying to sound like one. I take no shame in that.

If you have ever taken time out of your day to read one of my stories, I appreciate you so much. If you have ever hit the kudos button on one of my stories, I appreciate you so much. If you have ever written me a comment, shared your genuine feelings about my writing with me, you are responsible for a big, stupid smile on my face and a significant bit of motivation.
