The first man I ever loved died & I’ll never be able to tell him how I really felt. He was supposed to come up in 2 weeks, I had the restaurant planned and a stupid conversation segue that would end w/ me asking him to be my boyfriend like, officially officially. I’m devastated. He died on his birthday. His presents are still on my table. The pictures of his dog are on my kitchen counter. I’ve never cried harder in my life.

My boss told me he’s leaving our company today. I’m so happy he’s accepted a bigger/better job on the west coast & it’s client facing, which he’s wanted to do for a long time! But I’m sad and have dumb d***y issues and it feels like he’s walking out on me and I have a tiny stupid part of my brain that says it’s my fault even though I know it’s not!!! I hate being an adult!!!! Anyways cheers to him, the best manager I’ve ever had & probably the only one that will be okay with me crying to him and talking about my fear of failure and imposter syndrome on the clock. Goodbye **** it was fun while it lasted
