✨Salad pizza!! ✨ I have been slowly adding dairy, eggs and meat protein into my diet while pregnant and its been a bit of a challenge... 🤪 First off because I haven't eaten it in almost two years and what went down came right back up 🤢 But my baby needs it so I have persisted and I've been finally able to do eggs, chicken and for the first time in 2 and 1/2 years turkey 🦃 Thankfully I still love my vegan meals and this includes fresh baked salad pizza 🙌🏻✨ My basic herbed pizza dough recipe (because you've got to have herbed crust!!) is from @bobbyflay and it's simple and turns out fantastic everytime. INGREDIENTS: 1/2 to 4 cups bread flour, plus more for rolling 1 Tbsp Herbs de Provence 1 teaspoon sugar 1 envelope instant dry yeast 2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 1/2 cups water, 110 degrees F 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus 2 teaspoons DIRECTIONS: 1.Combine the bread flour, herbs de provence, sugar, yeast and kosher salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and combine. While the mixer is running, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil and beat until the dough forms into a ball. If the dough is sticky, add additional flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together in a solid ball. If the dough is too dry, add additional water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Scrape the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead into a smooth, firm ball. 2.Grease a large bowl with the remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil, add the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in a warm area to let it double in size, about 1 hour. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes. 3.Once you are ready to make your pizza, roll out your dough onto a floured surface and bake 400F for 7-9 mins until golden brown colouring. Make sure your paying attention to your dough as its the star of the show. 4.To assemble, drizzle olive oil on the crust and top with your favourite vegetables or other ingredients such as artichoke hearts, avocado, red onion, baby greens, tomatoes and for extra flavour balsamic glaze ✨ Bon Appetite 🙌🏻 — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2OLN56k
