“She’s got at least ten pairs,” he says, scratching the shaved side of his head in a show of feigned innocence, as if he hadn’t just suggested that Tim hand over his girlfriend to him so casually–But it had become a joke, a sort of game between the three of them and Kon loved playing around.
He’d been sitting midair, legs crossed, hands resting on knees, and when it became the apparent that Tim was still down with their little game, he drops down onto the couch and stretches out, carelessly throwing his legs across Tim’s lap because damn it the couch is too small and he had enough body to go around.
“I’d buy her somethin’…” He trails off, fingers pushing through the loose curls that fall across his brow. “Somethin’ she doesn’t have. Somethin’ cheesy that she won’t expect. Like a mug with your face plastered to it. Every mornin’ would start with a cup of coffee and that face of yours.”
“She has maybe one pair of purple boots, and those are like rubber rain boots. These ones are like--you know, sexy ones.” Alright, maybe the boots were also kind of a present to Tim, but he’s pretty sure he’s supposed to find his girlfriend hot so he’s not going to apologize for noticing the nice shape of her legs.
“Also, pretty sure you haven’t been in my girlfriend’s closet.” Tim says, glancing up at where Kon is hovering mid-air.
“Unless there’s something you’d like to tell me?” Just pointed enough to be playful-- Kon would joke with him but-- they were friends for a reason and Kon would never betray him like that. And Tim knew it too.
Kon drops on the couch, in very Kon fashion-- stretching out his legs over Tim’s lap. This earns him an eyebrow raise, but not much more than that.
“I’m not gonna buy her something with my face on it-- I’m not that obsessed with my own vanity. As pretty as I am.”
