Actually, that’s why they shouldn’t get back together. NEVER have eli and clare been able to be right after a break up. It always eli acting petty and possessive . Now there is another human involved. What if things happen, eli goes to NYC to visit a friend or clare is away and he cheats on her again? Or they just fall out of love cause they are still teens? Eli can’t and wouldn’t be civil for a kid and clare has had to deal with petty parents herself. The only way eli can be civil to clare after a break up is if he thinks he can get back together with her.

Rewatching some older Degrassi and I've come to realize:

I miss the Manny/Paige rivalry. Here's why: it was never over a guy. Spinner liking Manny while dating Paige was awful, but Paige VS manny started cause Manny challenged Paige's queen bee status. That's what it was always about. Now girl rivalries are always about a boy. Clare vs Jenna? Over KC, Bianca vs Katie/Bianca vs Alli? All over Drew. Maya vs Zoe? Over Miles. Ok I hate Drecky, but Adam doesn’t own Becky. Much like Cam doesn’t own Maya and JT doesn’t own Liberty, Adam doesn’t have ownership over Becky. Its poor writing on the writers part, cause they know this would piss off fans. They didn’t plan out Drecky it was random. Its poor writing, and stupid cause it pissed off fans, but its not like Becky can’t date anyone in Adam’s family just cause she dated him and he died. Cause that’s call... god what’s that word... As much as I ship Triles, I agree with this. I didn't ship Fimogen or Palex and got called a homophobe more than once. Even when I had a Clenna url or posted folly j or Paige/Ellie stuff. I don't get on people who hate Triles unless they do say "I hate them cause they are gay" other than that, you just don't ship them. People need to not be so sensitive when it comes to ships

I mean come on! This is your dead brothers girlriend you’re kissing right now. Couldn’t the writers give Becky another love interest? I can’t imagine that someone would fall for their dead boyfriends brother.

I love Drew as a character as much as I love Adam, but I just really dislike Drew and Becky dating.

It's not even that someone wouldn't fall for their brothers ex. Becky is pretty and Drew is good looking. The problem is the writers KNOW THIS WOULD PISS OFF THE FANDOM. The truth is there is fewer Drecky fans then there are clew fans, and most people would have had Clew than drecky cause Clew had a whole season of build up, for what? A fake pregnancy scare? This is bullshit. If they wanted us to buy that Drew was suddenly head over heels for Becky and same with Becky they should have built them up instead of Clew. But no.
