映画『ELVIS』を観てきた。 エルビスのブラックミュージックに関する原体験がコラージュ的な映像で表現されており素晴らしかった。 偉大なブルース・ミュージシャンB.B.KINGと互いに「BB」、「EP」と愛称で呼び合うほど仲が良かった事は知らなかった。 1968年4月4日キング牧師暗殺 同年6月6日ロバート・F・ケネディ暗殺。そしてこの年にエルヴィスはクリスマス向けテレビの特別番組「68’ Comeback Special 」を収録。ラストシーンで期待されたクリスマスソングを無視しキング牧師の著名な演説に対するアンサー・ソング「IF I CAN DREAM」を歌います。このシーンは感涙ものです♪ すべてミュージック・ラバーにお薦めです。 I saw the movie "ELVIS". KING were so close that they nicknamed each other "BB" and "EP". April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. assassinated. Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on June 6 of the same year. And in this year, Elvis recorded "68' Comeback Special," a TV special for Christmas. In the last scene, he ignores the expected Christmas song and sings "If I Can Dream," an answer song to Dr. King's famous speech. This scene is a tear-jerker.
