I'm unsure what to do with this verse.
It seems to be falling apart. Both Ruby and Jo have deactivated their accounts and many people seem to have just lost interest in it. Before I think about deactivating myself I want to hear from everyone first and see what they think.Â
It could be continued as a smaller group, but I want to know if itâs worth continuing. SoâŠI leave this up to you guys. What do you all think?
(( Personally I'd like to do something with it, but I'm..not really sure what to do. I suppose my vote would be to continue, but...yeah. o-o ))

âIt is unusual to find someone that cares. So, stillâŠâ He smiled slightly and looked down, shifting his wings absently.
âWell, as I said, you seem lovely. I see no reason not to care.â
"You are lovely. I can say that." He chuckled, shifting. "Here's to hoping I live up to that."
âPossibly true. Everyone says itâs dangerous, and it very well may be, to be on my own, but I⊠Itâs been very hard to trust anyone since my lastâŠâ
âNo, I completely understand.â Ezra murmured. âTrust problems are to be expected after such a thing.â
He nodded slightly, offering a slight smile. âI suppose thatâs true. I can only hope I donâtâŠalways feel this way. Iâd like to be able to trust someone again. Iâm starting to with my brothers at the least.â
âWith time, I imagine it will improve for you.â
âI must admit, optimism is a nice thing to come by.â He chuckled and sighed. âIt would seem I canât find it in myself recently.â
âPerhaps that also will come with time.â
âPerhaps. Thank you, Ezra.âÂ
âNo need to thank me, âeni. I hope your situation improves.â
"It is unusual to find someone that cares. So, still..." He smiled slightly and looked down, shifting his wings absently.

Nodding as well, he shifts. âI can imagine so. I wasâŠusually veryâŠout-doorsy. I donât know if you know of the Garden, but itâŠwas my favorite place. As a fledgling and the when I couldâŠescape the watchful eye of my mate.â
Ezra tilted his head. âYour mate?â
Flushing, Balthazar looked away. âYes, IâŠhad a mate. Not a very pleasant one. One of the Alphas that wasnâtâŠexactly the best.â
Ezra frowned. âOh, Iâm sorry.â He murmured quietly. âAn arranged pairing of sorts, then?â
âOf sorts, yes. I⊠I suppose weâreâŠdifferent then our counterparts in other universes. But, I suppose that would be the best way to describe it.â
Ezra shifted, curious. âHow so?â
He chuckled and looked down. âWell, I⊠I havenât met a lot of the mentionedâŠother universe counterparts, but I have seen them. Theyâre different. WeâŠwhere Iâm from, weâre born intoâŠroles, I suppose. Alphas, betas, and omegas. Iâm an omega. The lowest class, of sorts.â
âAh.â Ezra nodded his understanding. âIn this world, only certain types of Fae and some werewolves have that system. But you have it across angels and humans too?â
âAcross all species, I believe.â He nodded, shifting and slipping his hands into his pockets. âIâm not completely sure, but I believe Iâve seen demons too. I havenâtâŠinteracted, though. IâŠalphas frighten me.â
âWell, thatâs understandable really.â Ezra said quietly. âItâs hardly unexpected. You oughtnât talk to someone if they make you too uncomfortable.â
"Possibly true. Everyone says it's dangerous, and it very well may be, to be on my own, but I... It's been very hard to trust anyone since my last..."

âI hear they can be quite tenacious, hmm?â
âQuite. And IâmâŠin a bit of trouble. Among other things.â
Ezra nodded again. âI hope you continue to evade them. You seem lovely, and I wouldnât wish the wrath of the Host on anyone.â
âThank you, you seem quite the same.â He smiled slightly, dipping his head slightly and smiling again.
The Librarian relaxed a little more. âDo you enjoy flying, Balthazar?â He asked, curious.
âWhen I get the chance, yes. When I wonât draw attention to myself.â
Ezra nodded. âI find it quite enjoyable, myself. I uh- I do have wings, theyâre just not visible in this form. I tend to keep a glamour up so as to not upset the humans.â He explained.Â
âI can understand that. I usually keep mine hidden if I can, but my Grace has beenâŠstrained, recently. Iâve been staying inside to keep them from human eyes. At least those that havenât already seen.âÂ
Ezra nodded again. âMmm. I keep inside a lot anyway, to be honest. Itâs just in a lot of public buildings.â
