Vortex x Reader
• “Hiding from me?” Fumbling your iced coffee, you’re dancing backwards as it splatters all over your shoes and on your pants when it hits the ground. And you glower up at your assigned mech sitting on top of the dorm, mass displaced. Apparently waiting just to jump scare you. ‘Don’t you have anything better to do?’ You demand sourly and he pitches forward, throwing himself off the roof. Inhaling, you duck back inside the lobby as your heart goes racing. Seeing him falling and his frame arches gracefully, twisting in a way he looks like he shouldn’t be able to so he can land in a crouch, rotor blades flared.
• Reaching to push open the door when you try to shut it in his face, you’re retreating as he tucks his rotors to duck inside the building. “Get out,” you hiss, moving to put a couch between him and you as a couple of the humans lounging in the open space nervously get to their feet. ‘Why? Are you ashamed of me? Am I your dirty, little secret?’ He teases and your face flushes as you glance back at the other humans, clearly embarrassed.
• Why is he like this? “No,” you blurt, mortified as one of your coworkers covers their mouth with a hand, trying not to laugh at you. “You’re a work assignment.” And you know nothing you say is going to keep that one from gleefully gossiping that you’re fucking your assigned mech. ‘You’re so mean,’ he growls, following you, head tilted slightly and stare predatory to make your skin prickle when his visor brightens, rotors spreading out aggressively. ‘Gotta say, it’s a turn on.’
• Spike stirring as your face goes even redder, he chuckles as you keep retreating and he slowly stalks after you. Watching your body language as you tense, daring you to run. Because you know he’s going to chase you if you do. Wants to chase you. “We’re not together,” you grind out as another human snickers. ‘That’s not what you said last night while you were bouncing on my spike,’ he lies and your eyes flash, lunging to grab a decorative pillow to throw at him.
• “I’m not fucking him! We’re not fucking!” You hiss, knowing no one’s going to believe you as you cast about for something else to throw at him. And he lunges, trying to catch you. Stumbling back, you react without thinking and slap him hard enough it’s hurts you. Sucking in a breath as you shake out your stinging fingers, he reaches up to touch his battle mask and rumbles. ‘You know I love it when you get rough,’ he growls and you hear another caretaker absolutely lose it cackling. “I hate you,” you groan, letting him tug you into his frame.
I'M FREE FROM FINALS HELL. Hopefully I'll post a little more now. For now here are some doodles I did. (still trying to get used to drawing these guys)
