Pairing: Curse!Teacher!Gojou Satoru x Student!F!reader
The world was in ruins. With the strongest gone, not just Japan, but the whole world seem to have been crushed to crumbs. Curses and curse users took advantage of the strongest’s absence, of the strongest’s death and roamed the earth like everything was free for them to snatch.
The fault falls on your shoulders.
You walk through the broken building, stepping on rotting wood due to being exposed to much moisture. They never thought about renovating the place, no point in doing so. Plus, anyone would be too stupid to want to renovate some school when humankind is in such a crisis. You headed your way to the training grounds.
Even as long weeks passed, you will never hear the end of detestable whispers. Anger, frustration, hatred, whatever negative emotion you could name was evident in those whispers and they never put in effort to hide them. Why should they?
“We’re having dinner at Fushiguro’s room today, you coming?”
You wiped your lips with the sleeve of your track jacket after consuming some water, politely answering Nobara’s question with a little smile, your answer was no.
You smile because you admire and is silently grateful for her to still keep talking to you after all that’s happened. You were grateful for your fellow friends and upperclassmen to treat you the same still, they try to, anyway.
They act nice but somehow you knew that deep down, they wished it was you who was dead instead of the reliable one, instead of the strong one, instead of the one who could prevent all this.
With you gone, they would be the ones broken instead of the whole world, and they could fix themselves with time, anyway. The world could not.
You find yourself unable to stay with them any longer than mere minutes—excluding trainings and missions, because you wouldn’t need to talk to them and them forcing polite conversations—so you excused yourself. It didn’t feel like you belong anymore. For their sake as well, your presence must be suffocating.
How was Gojou Satoru’s death possible?
He isn’t immortal but, there was no way he would die by a curse’s hand, but he did.
It was one that was a little stronger than special-grade curses but that wasn’t enough to defeat Gojou Satoru and it knew that fact, in the same time, it also figured out his weakness.
Surely people don’t think what you have with this little girl is but an innocent relationship of a teacher and a student, right? The curse mused, enjoying the look on the strongest plenty.
Gojou Satoru, what about a binding vow?
The moment the curse uttered these words with a large grin, you knew the world was soon going to collapse.
Shutting the weak wooden door behind you with a soft click, you stayed in silence for a moment. Just standing there, feeling as if you have no right to look up and stand tall, only deserving to look down in shame. Your hand slowly slips off the doorknob, heading towards the lone cold bed.
A shadow loomed over you and you smiled just a crack, hand obediently coming up to touch, to feel him like how he always expects you to.
“Gojou-sensei.” Within seconds, it stood before you and growled, baring teeth at the foreign name. This wasn’t what he wanted to hear. “I’m sorry, Satoru. I slipped up, it won’t happen anymore.” He stares for a while with blank eyes before moving closer, head pressed against your chest and seeking warmth. He loved your warmth.
Every day, every night, every moment, you find yourself asking this, to no one in particular.
It looks and acts like him, just lost the usual glimmer of blue eyes and voice that never fails to make you melt.
This was more aggressive, more possessive. Everything about this was more than the one you knew and loved, or perhaps this was what he is all along?
No matter, you let him snuggle in you anyway.
“That girl is the true curse! Gojou Satoru was just foolish enough to fall into her traps!”
You were a curse that haunted Gojou Satoru and striped all of his common sense and rationality ever since you came into his life, he may be the strongest but, he was so, so weak to your love and the curse it came with.
