A mirror Gijinka named Spiritforged for WildGuppy on Flight Rising. I was getting total magical girl vibes from her, so that’s the style I went for.

Denas for Pyracantha on the Doodle the Dragon Above thread. She was a fun noodle to draw, but Pistachio is a hard colour to do with colour pencil. I loved doing the glimmer though.

Gemma for LadyRenee. I still have trouble with nocturne snouts. I thought she had glimmer but she actually has gembond and a sparkly accent.

Aseila for VoxxVoleur. Damn you Skychickens, why you so hard to draw? According to her lore, Aseila has a yearning for something more, but she's not quite certain what that "more" is. I tried to get that in her face, so she's not unhappy as such, but she's not happy either.

Kydra for mrgbmommy. She's an assassin for hire! I wanted to draw a mirror. A breed I find relatively easy to draw. So what do I do? Pick one with the lion headdress and gembond. Because I'm an idiot. Though I drew a lion recently so maybe I was still in a lion type of mood. She's supposed to be roaring.

An Earth Sprite for the Rockbreaker’s Ceremony art contest. I used the prompt “Surrounded by Gems” and made a small floating island piece. The first and most important step in colouring crystals with Copics? DON’T! It was so hard, and they still don’t look how I want them to. Also the Earth Sprite is hard to draw.

Soleina for  Fervanus  from the Gijinka the dragon above thread. Trying something different with my Col-Erase pencils on toned paper. I ended up needing to use my white prismacolor and white gelly roller to help because the white Col-Erase isn’t terribly strong.

So now the Khajiit is trying to do a skin. A noodle skin. A snek noodle skin. I am unsure on how the back foot/front foot with the tail in front of it actually works, but I’m gonna give it a red hot go.

Starfall Accent

So I tried another thing :) And I chose to do a mirror again because I love mirrors

Obviously the entry won’t have the watermark on it. I’m thinking of calling it Nebular because I am super boring!

I was influenced by a painting I did last year. It’s so hard to get the watercolour nebular effect digitally. On GIMP. At least I have a graphics tablet this time.
