{☣}—“Ah,” the demon’s tone changed almost entirely to that of a more respectful, more relaxed one, “Well, I’ll admit, I am a little disappointed that there won’t be a fight today, but, then again, I do have quite a few enemies, so why add another unnecessary one? Besides, I don’t find all my joy in meaningless battles.”
Why she was telling the guardian this, she didn’t know, but Mareo actually didn’t want to make an enemy out of this one. She seemed nice enough, innocent even. “As for this land, no. I have no property of my own—you could say I’m a traveler. In fact, I was just passing by, heading to town.”
Being nice, or decent in her case, was boring, but she had to pull through. If she didn’t, she would let her boredom fuel her ferocity and then start a fight and, for once, she didn’t want that to happen. Not today, at least. So, with all that being said, Mareo’s usual smug look had faded into a blank, a quiet, one.
“And what are you doing here?” she asked, eyes empty and unblinking as she analyzed, spectated, the guardian’s every moment.
The aqua phoenix couldn’t help but pause at the unexpected change in tone from the female demon, making her incline her head to the side, those amber hues didn’t lift from the dark haired female. What prompted the sudden change in her voice, she wondered? It was more respectful and a little casual now, much different than the previous that was filled with demeaning hint and pity. Either way, the guardian could sense that it was sincere change, not just a mask, and she was willing to accept it.
After all, she wouldn’t want unnecessary fights either.
She remained quiet for a moment longer, digesting the words from the raven haired demon. “Traveler.. That’s quite similar of what I am now.” Her voice was neutral, that hint of wary still not completely gone but she did allow herself to relax a little. She wanted to make as many friends and companions as possible, turning one into an enemy wasn’t something on her ‘to-do’ list. Certainly not something she was keen to happen.
“I’m traveling from worlds to worlds. Learning about things, you may assume it like that.” Answering another’s inquiry, the little birdie wasn’t very much sure if she should give the details. A moment of hesitation as her lips thinned, and the words came out once more. “And.. I’m looking for someone.”
{☣}—Just a single glint of interest, of surprise, in other terms, shown in those bright fuchsia eyes of her's when the topic of worlds came into the conversation. For years, billions of them, she had been walking this same planet, world, and never before had the idea of another one came into mind. Most likely because this world brought up new reasons for her to stay each time she began to doubt, but there was no stopping her now; maybe she could move the business to another world, or simply go to one on a vacation. That would be pleasant.
"Worlds to worlds?" she echoed in a perfect combination of both disbelief and shock, which was an odd duo, "As old as I am, I wasn't aware that there were different worlds."
When the other finished her statement, and with the topic of looking for someone, Mareo couldn't help but think negatively. Why anyone would waste their time looking for another was a mystery to her, especially when there's worlds to go to. She could just find someone else, it didn't matter.
"I would assume this person is very close to you if you're willing to travel between worlds in search of them," Mareo murmured, deciding against bringing up how pointless, how naive, she thought the matter was.
(( seeing as I want to be a better greeter. All of you deserve my greetings and I will now give you all one ))
“Ah? Who are all of you?” she asked as she noticed a sudden change in recent events. “Well, in any case, welcome to Teyfiliia Academy. I don’t advise sticking around though if you’re a boy though, but you’re welcome to try and sneak past the headmistress,” Saria greeted in a matter of fact tone, adjusting her scarf accordingly to cover her smile.
{☣}—“It’s usually polite to introduce ones self before asking who the other is,” Mareo pointed out, ignoring the girl’s other statement for it didn’t apply to her. With a gentle sigh and a single shake of the head, the demon continued, “But I digress. I’m Mareo Kudo, and you?”
“Oh, I’m sorry…” she stated bowing politely. “Pleasure to meet you, Mareo-san. My name is Matahari Saria.” Adjusting her scarf, she smiled at the girl. “What brings you here though?”
{☣}—"It's quite alright," replied Mareo with a gentle shrug of the shoulders, "I'm simply here to look around." Well, for once she was being honest--the demon's only purpose here today was to take a look around and possibly find something, or someone, interesting.
{☣}—Mareo cleared her throat for a moment after listening to the book’s definition of stalker, which she was in no way one. After doing so, her burgundy gaze fell back upon the other and her mouth opened to speak, but only a two words eluded her lips, “It isn’t.”
“So you’re telling me you weren’t following me just now?”
{☣}—"While it may appear that I was following, did it never occur to you that I might be going to the same place you are? Or that both of our destinations are in the same area?" questioned the demon, suppressing the urge to cackle.

“Splotches. No exceptions. Everyone.”

{☣}—“Considering my business is my own and I didn’t bother you, I would say you’re the one who’s idiotic,” retorted the demon, arms over chest once again as she let out a faint chuckle.
“Dammit you little! You really don’t know who I am messing with me like this! Seems like I’ll have to teach you a lesson” -the blonde smirked once more thinking of how to teach her a lesson.
{☣}—"I don't know, nor do I care, who you are," corrected Mareo with a single, over-exaggerated shrug of the shoulders. Once that action was done, she looked up with a quirked brow and a smirk, "And a lesson you say? What lesson could a blonde like you teach me?"
{☣}—“Eh?” the demon blinked, fluttered those eye lashes of her’s, in surprise when she felt an unexpected tap on the shoulder. When she turned around to see who had managed to sneak up on her, it was the same girl she had been following.
“Weren’t you—” Mareo cut herself off and tried again, and, rather than try to make sense of what just happened, decided to answer the girl, “I wouldn’t consider myself a stalker and I have no statement to make, thank you.”
Izaya stared at her with lazy eyes before taking out a dictionary stalk·er
Noun
A person who stealthily hunts or pursues an animal or another person.
A person who harasses or prosecutes someone with unwanted and obsessive attention.
“….no don’t tell me that’s not you in any way….”

{☣}—That smirk of her’s played itself on the demon’s features at the other’s question. “My answer is the same as your’s,” concluded Mareo, ignoring the fact that her entire statement was based on an assumption, “No.”
“Then…what are you?” she asked, brow arching in interest. She could tell for sure that she wasn’t a Silpelit, either, but human or not, she didn’t allow herself to lower her guard. Whatever this girl was could be far more dangerous.
{☣}—"A crossroad demon," she said with a tone of pure simplicity, for she had gone over this a million times with different individuals. After saying this, Mareo raised her hand and flicked a few pieces of unwanted hair out of her face before speaking again, "And you?"

“If your aware of the fact I am a bloodsucker. Then you should narrow it down easier.” she muttered a bit annoyed. Sighing lightly, she ran a hand through her pink hair. She really didnt want to explain things to this stranger.
Looking at the blood on the girls hands she frowned. “Sorry. Your not my type and neither is the blood you have on your body~” Sayuri said with a small shrug. Of course, what she said was a lie. She was never picky on blood cause it was all good and it all hid different tastes to her.
“An angel? Pfft… thats funny. I doubt I will ever be one. If you were looking for one you wont find one here.” she said simply. This girl was interesting yet stranger. Sayuri was at a loss as to what she should be feeling right now. Oh well, times like this were rare after all.
{☣}—"Then I guess you would just be a typical vampire, yes?" asked the demon with a rather disappointed. She was hoping that this girl would be different--unique--but, alas, she was nothing more than the usual, everyday vampire that patrolled the lands, looking for its next prey to feast upon. "What a shame."
"Well, I suppose my business here has come to an end. If you need me, I'll be in town," Mareo murmured before turning on her heels and taking her leave. Of course, she planned to cause trouble, but, if this vampire didn't wish to be apart of it, she wouldn't bring the girl in it. "Doing what I love."
Everyone knew what that was--causing trouble. That's what this demon loved to do, whether it be kill, torture, or any other gruesome activities that are known, and unknown. Well, that, and mentally play with people, too. That was always fun.
