thinking abt vampire AU James having heightened hearing (convenient for eavesdropping) but also as a result his ears are very touch-sensitive and Sherlock finds out that touching and/or kissing James’s ears is a surefire way to make him flustered, which he uses to his FULL advantage

Sherlock develops the habit of muttering funny stuff under his breath while they investigate and other people are present, and James, from the opposite side of the room, has to stop himself from laughing every time
