one thing ☝️ I love about Samael is that he never gets insulted when people don’t recognize him? Like he’s this big time rockstar but he gets it if people don’t know him u know?? He’s not everyone’s taste in music and that’s okay :))

             Samael surveys the lightly charred grilled cheese with a smile, which he turns to Summer as he tilts his head.     ❛❛   It was really sweet of you to make me this.   ❜❜     He coos, wanting the other to know just how much Samael appreciates him. Samael carefully plucks the sandwich up with one hand and hums as he bites into it. He chews a couple of times before his brows raise and he grins, lips sealed, nodding as he finishes his bite with a swallow. The sandwich was a little burnt but other than that, it was pretty damn good for a grilled cheese.     ❛❛   That's really fucking good, babe.   ❜❜     He admonishes, face beaming as he leans over to squeeze one of Summer's hands.     ❛❛   Have you been practicing?   ❜❜

god,   does   eddie   have   a   praise   kink?   there   is   a   happy   flush   to   his   cheeks   as   he   grins   back   at   samael.   he   still   has   his   guitar   in   hand,   eddie   having   gotten   distracted   by   him   when   he   was   packing   up.   corroded   coffins   usual   crowd   consisted   of   about   five   drunks   and   eddie's   sister   most   of   the   time,   the   unfamiliar   face   had   drawn   eddie   to   him   instantly.   "if   i   ever   get   out   of   this   fucking   town,   yeah."   it's   a   little   breathless,   eddie   clearing   his   throat   as   he   nods.   "you   play   too?"

             Staying in Hawkins isn't very interesting to Samael. There's almost nothing to do, and most people turn their noses up at him. Which makes sense, the whole town seems to have a vendetta against the devil, which is someone Samael is often compared to. Well, there's some good to the town. Like the movie store, supplying Samael with all his favorite horror movies...

             And, apparently, there's talent in Hawkins. Samael stumbled upon Corroded Coffin because someone mentioned them while he was browsing the movies at Family Video, and he couldn't help but eavesdrop at the idea of a badass-sounding band being in Hawkins.

             So, he decided to catch a show and was thoroughly impressed     ——     especially by the guitarist and lead.      ❛❛   Amen to that...   ❜❜     (Yes, he sees the irony in using that word.) Samael is grinning at the other man, tilting his head at his question before a smirk sharpens his features. It's not uncommon for people not to recognize him, especially in such a small town like Hawkins...      ❛❛   Mmm, I dabble.   ❜❜     He replies, a little cryptically, before nodding towards the man's guitar.     ❛❛   But you? You fuckin' blew me away. You and your band.   ❜❜   He nods toward the rest of the gang, his hands in his pockets, his smile warm.

okay, a few IMPORTANT updates: Samael is now from Tennessee (he only has an accent when hes tired or intoxicated lol), he's ex-christian, he's no longer british, and his new voice claim is spencer charnas of ice nine kills!!

samael does drink still, but he does it in careful moderation and limits his consumption... He also makes sure never to drink when he's upset, it's mostly just a social thing

             Samael looks up from his cell phone to blink at the woman handing him his drink before a crooked smile forms over his lips.      ❛❛   You might know me.   ❜❜     He replies, cryptically, as he takes the glass from her, grinning as he nods his head.     ❛❛   Thanks.   ❜❜     This will be his first and last drink of the night, and he hums as he takes his first sip.     ❛❛   ... Do you like rock music?   ❜❜     That would, of course, be the first step in refreshing her memory if she does know who he is. If not, it'll open the air for a potentially pleasant conversation.
