oh I’m back here right now I’m trying to do mermay x figure skating and the results are…  satisfying. well here’s 5 days of work by far: Evgenia, Alina, Kaori, Polina and Shoma since my friend said ‘MERMAIDS SHOULD SHINE WHERE’S GLITTER’ I gave up the sketchy quickness for the sake of detalising, so Shoma looks like he’s wallowing in glitter every day (I’m afraid to imagine how would Yuzu look like when the time comes) 25 more to go well wish me good luck

... sooo I've only been into figure skating since june and I just wanna know, Boyang Jin's first name is Boyang right? Like, it's been three months and I feel like it's too late too ask but everybody says something else and I am really confused!! Sorry for bothering you. Ok thx!! 💖

it’s okay, welcome to fandom! well I’m pretty sure Boyang is his first name because the Chinese name order implies the way of writing ‘family name + given name’ instead of Western order that is used by the most part of the skaters including Japanese. Koreans and Chinese use the reversed version, the Western publications and media follows their way of writing that’s why the part of people is usually confused by this 🤔‘Boyang’ - first name, ‘Jin’ - surname ‘Yuna’ - first name, ‘Kim’ - surname ‘Yan’ - first name, ‘Han’ - surname ‘Wenjing’ - first name, ‘Sui’ - surname ‘Kong’ - first name, ‘Han’ - surname ‘Junhwan’ - first name, ‘Cha’ - surname and so on hope, it helped ✨
