Dear White People #1
My president is still black. Idk about y'all and your Assaulter-in-Chief. But as long as I’m concerned, Obama was the last legit president this nation had. And aside from all that bs about “it’s bigger than you, he still won, treat him with respect,” he won off of a antiquated system that was meant to favor mediocre white men anyways. The actual fact (not that “alternative” shit you guys use to tell us that oppression isn’t numerically provable) that he is cutting us off from important allies and burning bridges within his first 5 days in office proves to me that y'all really vote to reflect your beliefs as a collective. And the best thing is that y'all need the shit Obama established the most (the ACA, pushing for background checks, etc). By the end of these 4 years when we’re all fucked, trust me, we won’t forget who put him in office.
Truth.

Hidden Figures (2016) directed by Theodore Melfi
“Before John Glenn orbited the earth, or Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, a group of dedicated female mathematicians known as “human computers” used pencils, slide rules and adding machines to calculate the numbers that would launch rockets, and astronauts, into space.
Among these problem-solvers were a group of exceptionally talented African American women, some of the brightest minds of their generation…”

Black girls deserve to learn free from bias and stereotypes.
Most black girls experience this hatred at schools. And classmates are not the only problem, there is no support from teachers, too. That’s why they get so affected by their school experiences. Black kids deserve to be treated just like everybody else, they want to study, they want to learn something ,too. However due to prejudice they are 5 times more likely to be suspended than their white peers and it can ruin their lives forever. National Women’s Law Center created this video to change the situation. Join the movement to help black girls feel normal and get the same opportunities everybody else has.
