the online identity and gimmick-ifying of autism is so odd. I'm diagnosed with autism and yet I barely identify with any stuff I see about it anymore. It feels like autism is being rebranded as the Silly Guy Disorder that gives you smart and beautiful hyperspecific interests. it's not that I mind silly jokes or being lighthearted about being autistic- but when the entire social movement is based around marketing us this way, I just can't help but feel isolated from it. it feels like I'm not the right kind of autistic. I'm not marketable and digestible to common audiences, and therefore I am discarded by the movement in the name of progress and acceptance. it feels foul.

This is EXACTLY how I feel and I haven't seen anyone else express this before. I don't know what exactly is wrong with me but I'm diagnosed autistic and I don't get hyperfixations or "special interests," it's a bit isolating when being autistic online is "what specific thing do you know everything about" and I just... don't have that.

This is kinda odd but does anyone else like... refuse to watch Youtube videos that are recorded from a stream? Like no hate to them at ALL it makes sense and it's not that they're not well edited, but something about the youtuber talking to chat just bugs me lol

Hello! I'll keep this brief.

Currently, there is no requirement for women's prisons to employ OBGYNs. Incarcerated women are forced to go to doctors who aren't specialized in their care, and often women's health concerns are neglected.

The mortality rates of pregnant women in prison, and their infants, is alarmingly high. Bill H.R. 7733 aims to help this by:

Ensuring all prisoners have access to an OBGYN

Ensuring checkups within two weeks of incarceration (which can prevent cancer, among other life-threatening conditions)

Requiring cancer screenings, menstrual healthcare and pain management, and treatment of gynecological conditions

Providing postpartum and prenatal care, including PPD screenings

Preventing prisoners from being denied care based on costs/staffing/transportation issues

Requiring a report on infant and mother deaths, which will shine more light on this issue

Every other new moon, the cats of Havenclan will select a cat, regardless of age or role, to sacrifice for the sake of keeping an ancient curse at bay. One such cat, Rustfeather, begged her best friend to protect her son, and to take him away from that horrible place. And Glowstar obliged. She took Littlekit in the dead of night, two full days travel away, until they reached a place of towering trees and muffled sounds. They would come after them, Glowstar knew that, but maybe for just a little while they would be safe. Expect this story to contain gore, death (+child death,) manipulation, grief/depression, and ritual sacrifice. Anything else I'll give an extra warning for. This is definitely a dark story.

Hey y'all! I'm gonna try to keep this short but it is important to please read if you don't mind!

I first started Flickerclan with no idea of how to make a comic, my own artstyle, or what I wanted out of the story besides a few basic ideas. And while I don't plan on giving it up entirely, part of me wants to try again from scratch with what I learned and a more detailed plan.

So my question is: is there anyone out there that's really attached to this story? I can't imagine there is since I barely developed a story at all yet lol, but I just wanted to see if anyone would be genuinely disappointed if I didn't continue it (and I still might! It just wouldn't be my priority.)

So anyway I won't take it personally at all if you don't really care about Flickerclan, I just wanna know where people are at if I were to start something new (hopefully with much more regular updates)

Guys give me something to draw, anything at all! I have no idea what to draw lol (preferably your OCs but fandom stuff or random things are fine too!)
