SCORPIO MOON RISING - STRAWBERRY MOON FIRE - 2025
These gardens are enchanted, I wish you could smell their scents at night..
Obsessed with gardening and insects lately... 🪲🪰🦟🪲🪰🦟
Phenomena - Creepers 1985
This film storyline and general vibes are so cool. It's about girl with telepathic powers over insects.
A large part of the budget of the film was spent on the insects that were used. Spiders, including black widows and scorpions were imported from Africa, while flies, grasshoppers and wasps were raised in various parts of Rome where the film was shot.
The styling was done by Armani and the whole wardrobe of Jennifer and the evil headmistress are something to die for..
The Magic Circle - John William Waterhouse
Don't enter the magic circle. With outstretched hand holding a wand the sorceress draws a circle around herself. Outside the circle a barren landscape, a raven and some frogs. Within the circle are flowers and the woman herself, objects of beauty. A snake coiled around her neck, a symbol of devotion to Lilith , an Ouroboros, infinite snake.
She, the high priestess is in command of all elements of nature and eternity.

El altar de la Santa Muerte is something very special and close to my heart.
I used to visit Tepito since the 00's.. Considered a poor and dangerous area in CDMX. Part of my upbringing by my Mexican father was to understand the culture and to understand the spiritual heritage and the customs from our Indigenous ancestors. The altar of la Santisima in Tepito is a place of worship and reverence with roots back to those ancient traditions.
La Santisima, Coatlicue, Tonantzin, la Llorona Serpent sex goddess, virgin, mother, whore, death. The holy trinity..
In a world where nowadays women are forbidden the expression of their divinity, she rises.
La Muerte doesn't discriminate and she is a mother to us all.

Also very fascinated by the view on female hysteria/female orgasm during Victorian times..
I just adore that scene in Francis Ford Copolla's, Bram Stokers Dracula 1992, where a somnabulant Lucy runs of to the cemetery at night and has sex with a werewolf/incubus.. she eventually turns into a vampire.
I definitely identify with Lucy!! Possessed!!
Inferno 1980. Argento movies are my favourite movies..
Set design, plot, cast, soundtrack, everything.. Haunting, compelling, paranormal and stylish af..
Did you know that this character who makes a very brief appearance in Inferno is actually Mater Lachrymarum, the Mother of Tears!! She is basically one of the three mothers/witches and main theme of Argento's trilogy, Suspiria, Inferno and Mother of tears.
I was left absolutely spellbound by this scene (and that was exactly the intention!)
The story of the Three Mothers opens at the beginning of the 11th century, when the origin of witchcraft is depicted as three sisters on the coast of the black sea. In the years that followed, they wandered the world and amassed great personal wealth and power, leaving death in their wake. The sisters are known as, "The Mothers", hence the title of the trilogy.
Such a cool scene.. ahhh
Bapho Romance 👹🌹
