Fate/Apocrypha Starters

It had been late at night when the Marzban had managed to reach the far outskirts of the camp that the others had set up. Having gotten separated from the rest of the group just a few hours ago, it wasn’t surprising to see that he’d been a bit farther away than he expected himself to be. How he managed to reach the others within the rest of the day was a mystery to him, but he was grateful to Farangis for waiting for him just outside.

“I apologize for making you all wait, Lady Farangis. Fighting our pursuers off took longer than I had expected it to. A persistent bunch, they were.”

At least he’d mamaged to reunite with one of them, however. With a small sigh, the knight adjusted the blade at his hip before moving so Shabrang was beside her. No doubt he was exhausted from the day’s events, it was clear in his eyes. He couldn’t have imagined how tough it was for Prince Arslan and everyone else, however.

With a quick glance at their surroundings, Daryun removed his helmet before placing it under his arm, relieved that the ordeal had passed without many issues. It was disappointing to know that Hilmes had gotten away once again, but he was certain there would be another meeting in the future.

“I’m glad to see you are unharmed, as well.. I’m guessing you all succeeded without problems as well? Silvermask got away, but there aren’t anymore reinforcements at least.”

For now, at least. His body remained tense, but only because he’d still been prepared should any enemies make an unexpected appearance again.
