There was a point in time when I looked at black people who dated interracially as being peculiar. I had an animosity toward them that I couldn't hide. Now I just don't see it the same way. The social dynamics which have pushed us toward these relationships were not controlled by us. The fact is we have been living in a system of white supremacy for the past 500 years, and all of those years of abuse up until today have resulted in the millions of black men in jail, deadbeat fathers, and broke/dusty/unmotivated brothers we complain about. They've resulted in the "hoodrats", the glorification of single motherhood,  blonde wigs, perms, skin bleaching, and "bad attitudes" we complain about. It's not that it is impossible for black men and women to form productive relationships, it's just that this system has made it so hard for us to do so because so many of us have been poisoned by racism and don't even know it.

Economic empowerment is so critical for repairing our condition as a people. We may not be able to stop racism but at the very least we can protect ourselves from it and nurture our own people based off the resources we have as a collective.

Really the key to repairing the relationships between black men and women is in fixing our economic issues. Even then, we still don't have to be together if we don't want to, but at least we'll have a base level of respect to build from.

There are a lot of black people running around thinking interracial dating is the key to defeating racism, when in fact, that could not be farther from the truth. There have been interracial unions in America between white and black people since 1619. How has interracial sex between white and black people eradicated the system of white supremacy?

People are turning these unarmed killings and beatings of black people into a cop thing. It's not just a cop thing. It's a white supremacy/racism thing. There is nothing wrong with being a policeman; we need them. What we don't need are people pretending to be policemen.

It really irks me when people in the dominant society use MLK as a silencing mechanism when you bring up systematic white supremacy. They tell you to riot peacefully and everything will be ok but when Martin was rioting peacefully he was getting bricks thrown at his head. Black women were getting their breasts bitten by dogs and black men and children were getting hemmed up by people pretending to be police.

So....are there any black women left who actually like black men?

Black feminists love to throw black men under the bus but they never dare throw a white man under the bus.

Most of the black people who got lynched were wearing suits. White supremacy didn't make exceptions for them because they dressed nice. All you were to them was a well dressed Nigger hanging from a tree.

Stop telling me about good white people. I don't care about good white people. Good white people love to help you out but never want to help you out enough to see you be equal to them. That messes with them. As long as they're helping you and you're still inferior to them, it's all good.

White folks use the excuse "Africans sold other Africans into slavery" yet they came to Africa with slave quarters in the bottom of their ships. They already had their minds set on enslaving us when they left Europe.

Our greatest enemies besides white supremacy are some of the misguided black folks who defend it.

Just because white folks accept you does NOT mean they respect you.

Black folks buy what they want and beg for what they need.

The objective is not to hate white people. the objective is to love ourselves so much that white people become irrelevant.

There is no such thing as an integrated black america! The only thing that is integrated is our money!

The main issue on the table today for black people is racism. Not sexism and GBLT rights. Before you're a woman, before you're gay or lesbian, you are black. White supremacy will not make any exceptions for you.
