I would love to win an Oscar one day. That would be a very wonderful thing. But in the meantime, I really hope that I make films I’m proud of. A lot of people aren’t going to like the movies I make, I’m sure. But as long as I’m proud of the movie and I’m not selling out, and I’m doing things that make me happy and make me grow as an actress, I’ll be good. (x)
Can you hear me?

73 Questions with Selena Gomez
rubydavis-x:
She had avoided going to the store as long as she could, but she couldn’t wait any longer. The need for basic items like bread, milk, and cheese had finally gotten the better of her, and she had decided it was time to make that leap. Standing and staring at the different brands of bread and the names in French, Ruby scratched her head trying to figure out what the better option would be, praying she wouldn’t have to pull out her phone and check Google Translate on every item in the store, “This is probably going to sound like a stupid question, but…what does that say?” She glanced to the person standing next to her hoping her deer-in-the-headlights look wasn’t that obvious.Â
Raised in a Spanish speaking home, learning yet another language after English was surprisingly easy to her and while some struggled, she found herself striving. She watched shows, movies, read articles, just about anything to help her learn the language and furthermore, the culture of the town and country of Switzerland. So, it was often up to her to take on the groceries, with Dobby hidden in a large bag on her shopping cart, and phone pulled out as she scrolled through the list, only to be distracted as a stranger’s voice interrupted. “Huh?” she asked, taking a couple seconds to register what the other said. “Oh yeah, of course, but if you’re looking for the best bread in town, I’d go with this bad boy right here.” She suggested, reaching up on her tiptoes to grab two bags off the shelf, tossing one in her cart and holding the other out to the girl. “It goes excellent with cheese and a glass of rosé to help you feel fancy, maybe a couple of grapes too.” she insisted with a large grin.
maveriickb:
“Crap,” Maverick muttered under his breath, unsteady hands trying to push his body from the ground. He pushed himself into a sitting position, hand reaching up to touch the bloody cut on his forehead. “I’m fine, I’m fine,” He mumbled weakly, vision focusing on a figure heading towards him.
"You know, even without the blood as evidence to show me that you're not fine, you’re a terrible liar. Your voice always changes when you’re lying,” the brunette couldn’t help the brief, yet faint smile that formed, a lingering concern still etched over her features as Dobby, the six month old French Bulldog barked at the boy, attacking him with slobbery kisses. “But I think Dobby has come to the rescue, so you should be all better in no time. Now tell me, should I be concerned that this is more than you having an accident involving running into a pole?”Â
Well, she calls me up when she’s BROKEN.   Says to leave my front door open. I come home to find her smoking with her eyes all fragile and  t h i n.   She’s always been HOPELESS at HOPING, always coped badly with coping     & I never know when she’s joking—-she never let’s anyone in.
save your advice cause i wont hear you might be right but i don’t care
maveriickb:
“Didn’t plan on it,” Eric gave Charlie a weak smile, slinging one arm around her shoulder. “Alright, drinks it is. What do you want? Piss-tasting beer, or liquid vomit tequila?”
Leaning in to rest her head against Eric's shoulder as he spoke, grinning back at him. "You must be lots of fun at parties, stranger," she teased, nudging him playfully in the side with her elbow. "But I'm more in the mood for something with a bit of a kick, unless you're still recovering from the last time I got you to drink fireball."
leilanadawson:
“Then why are you here if pretty girls shouldn’t be out at this time?” Leilana asked, feet dangling in the air as she kept on swinging. Her lips were slowly curling into a smile, watching as the other girl approached the swings. “I don’t find this place to be quite… scary. Everything is so lovely here.” She explained with s small shrug.
"Because I fall under the category of the freaks of the town, I know how to deal with the dead or UNDEAD, in this case." she lamely joked, eventually sitting on the swing, feet digging into the wood chips. “You’re definitely right, the landscape, most of it is gorgeous which outweighs most the negatives...especially when you know what you’re up against,” smile curved into a grin as she started to gently swing against the wind.Â
