With one foot stepping through the entrance, Amber eyes came to gleam from under the brim of his hat. The corner of his lips tugging and curling upward into a such devilish smile. His hand? It came up to take hold of his hat. Letting violet hair fall into place as he pulled it away, taking such a formal bow as greeting.
The air seemed eerie. Quiet. Haunted, but it bothered Ardyn non. As soon as his hat was put back into its place, he began to make his way down the long bridges and stone pathways. Never did his eyes wonder to the demons he passed until one particular skeleton HISSED. It didnât vex Izunia any, but what he did do was respond. Simply with a, â Good day~ â before continuing on his way.Â
It was wrong of Ardyn to leave Gilgamesh down here to suffer with such a curse and he knows how furious he more than likely is with him. Still, in Ardyns eyes, he had more important matters to deal with these thousands of years passed and cared little for what happened down here in this relm.
â Oh Gilgamesh~ â He finally arrived. Approaching the bridge lined with the fallen swords. â Your King has returned. Do come out and give him a welcome. â He knew what he was doing. His smile growing slightly as he halted on the bridge. His eyes glanced around momentarily as he made his way to one of the swords a short distance away. His fingertips coming to gently touch the handle. â Donât be like this, gilgy. You k n o w how busy a man I am. â
his core seethed. usually cold and emotionally balanced. always in check. but this was too overwhelming. all those furies and burdens crashing down . aching his stomach. messing with his unbeating heart.  how casually the man strolled his halls and haunted caves. no bother in mind. so condescending one would rather shoot themselves then he.Â
how could he be so calm? how could he be like this? he was shameful to admit that it hurt him beyond repair. this was the same man that he laughed with. drank with. the same one who shared their darkest secrets with eachother. kept eachother company in the late nights of war when sleep would not take them. they were inseparable. and that is what gilgamesh had believed. he had never had a bit of a thought how rotten theyre bond could become. . . he never knew his regrets and every mistake would sit with him beyond death.
ardyn, oh my poisoned liege, how could i let this happened to you?
he was a failure of a shield. eternally.
still, despite such feelings, gilgamesh was boiling. stricken by the mans natures. wind began to cast. scourge and shadow alike summoning together across the bridge a tall figure at almost 10 feet tall.. and there he was. eyes striking over in a sharp gleam of red.
â you have no right to speak to me like that. â
he snarled. for once in his long life fury envolopped his tone. hositlity marked his heavy steps. stomping closer and closer.Â
â busy man? i would have dug up the world for you. i would have done anything for you ! âpieces of fragmented skeletons rattled around him . his anger extending his control of his necromancy. his voice was incredibly distorted. â how dare you confront me? why now, of all years? you complete betrayer âÂ
