I think one of the reasons I love Ardyn so much is because instead of having to take the route of being a "better person", and giving forgiveness when his life has been so drastically and irreversibly damaged, he decides to choose Violence and to ruin everyone else's day, and I love that for him

Their first introduction is Gil knocking and looking around the library Ardyn works in, for a "Mr. Izunia?", and the man in question pops around a shelf with an arm full of books, reading glasses on, and a messy ponytail with a greeting of "❗you're taller than I pictured".
