Kassie was exhausted out of their mind. Sitting down with grass blades tickling their legs they looked around their surroundings to watch people play around the park with their companions. It was a sunny day outside despite the weather getting colder the more the year was reaching its end. Kassie had just finished their work at the hospital and things were finally slowing down after the outburst of patients following what happened during Halloween. Getting so many patients all at once was overwhelming but they were glad they were able to finish on time. Opening a can of soda and gulping it slowly they watched a bunch of children playing soccer. They couldnāt help thinking about their daughter but they shook their head and instead they propped up the magazine and continue flipping the pages. There were pictures of animals as they looked down and they smiled softly announcing to no one one in particular.Ā āIāve been thinking of getting a new furry friendā¦.ā They said.Ā āCats or dogs? That lab puppy is adorable.āĀ
with a chanel bag and pompous walk to match, blaire strutted through the park with her chin held up. her eyes were hidden by a pair of dark shades and she didnāt look like she could fit the criterion of a pleasant thursday morning but blaire was never the kind to be bothered by how she looked. she was confident in her gait, even as the shades existed to hide her worries over her new scripts. she didnāt seem like she had been able to get invested but being the starlet the media had made, she knew she couldnāt show any flaws. sheād be damned if she did and by damned, she meant her brand would be ignored and the last thing she wanted was losing her opportunities. running perfectly stylized fingernails through her hair, she was followed by her baby pug and sure he immediately jumped up at the chance to play fight with others. blaire adjusted her sunglasses and looked at the person who had spoken to her. grateful it wasnāt a man jabbering his butt off.Ā āno preference. i can never seem to get along with cats, unfortunately.ā blaire said, her voice masking emotions except an air of pretentiousness.Ā āit does make them more of a challenge. a quality i could relate.āĀ
