Night Walk || James and Blake
āOh, okay,ā James replied simply, hands fidgeting in his pocket. He cleared his throat and chewed so hard on his lower lip that it almost bled. After a while he asked, āWait, youĀ jumpĀ out of yourĀ window?āĀ Eyebrows furrowing, he continued, āDoesnāt that hurt?ā Seeing to it that James had a depriving childhood and had never really gone out much on his own, James didnāt know a lot about the outside world. He didnāt know how incredibly stupid he sounded when he asked these things, but he couldnāt help himself. There were just too many things to know about in this little time that he had alone to himself and his brother - the brother he didnāt even knowĀ existedĀ until a few days ago. As he and Blake walked, he zipped and unzipped the first half of his hoodie zipper, as a way to block the nerving tension that was riding his brain.
"Yeah, well if I don't want to get caught sneaking out after curfew then yeah. I resort to the window." he laughs as he explained. "It doesn't hurt much anymore.. I'm quite use to doing this actually..." Blake stuck his hands into the pockets of his coat and turned over to James who seemed to be really nervous and tense about something. He looks to his brother and asks, "Something wrong.." he raised an eyebrow and looked confusedly at him. "You seem kind of... umm.. worried..." Blake stopped walking in the middle and waited for James to give him an answer.
