Read this - Hateful Followers
Hateful Followers are not Obsessive Fans. Obsessive fans can also be pain in the ass at some situations: like asking more what their idols can give, thinking they know better about their lives in particular situations and wanting to know everything about what they are doing; but they still can keep a respect to those they have admiration most of the time and in general they are interested in what they have to say as an artist in a genuine way.
Hateful Followers ( either believing in what they say or not, for the purpose of causing comotion and to get followers) have as their only motivation to try to attack and diminish the image of the subject they follow and as much as a fan who obsesses over said person, they keep a track on their lives except they dont get any excitment of it, their only purpose is to find faults.
Again, either because they believe in what they are saying or just because they want this commotion around them to give a false meaning to their empty lives they collect information online of said person and they show it in a way to form a logic that has as the sole purpose to shape a bad image of that person, using even the little vulnerabilities that said person let out in interviews in order to build an idea that said person fit in their profile.
Those who accuse G of not following the principles of the book she helped to write, probably never bother to read or to tried to understand her perspective in that book. And the main one was that she is a woman being who tries to practice the good to make the world better, knowing she can make mistakes and the path to have a good life is always recognize you dont have everything done for you. Life is an eternal development where we can learn with each others. She never in any single line presents herself as a definitive solution.
Those who accuse G of not respecting the show that made her famous, dont take in consideration the fact that she lives in another continent with a family, a boyfriend, kids, friends, a house and by doing that ( acepting a contract for another season of the show) that even likely putting a lot of those things on hold, or probably in a not ideal situation to try to finish the show she is involved and that everyone needs a better conclusion respecting the fans that genuinaly admira the show and the characters.
When G brother passed away a few years back, Some fans probably knew of his condition but most of the fans were caught by surprise by the seriousness of his illness and condition. This because she spent many years living with this fact and still not revealing it. What shows that no matter who our idols are they just show a small part of their lives to the public. And no conclusion at all or judgment should be draw from what these people show to the press... at least not in a judgmental way.
With this I am saying you can LIKE, LOVE or even HATE someone based in what you know of him or her, but you should never try to dimish their image only based in the little you know.. If you dont like that person, go try to find another hobby, go follow someone who is more close to what you believe, but dont start a pattern of eternal hate becomeing a HATEFUL Follower.
