hello I bring to you an idea I had recently where Erika and Dlanor swap with Layton and Luke. Layton thrives on Rokkenjima the epitaph is enrichment for him. The Layton games, however, are Erika's personal torture chamber and Dlanor is completely useless

layton whistling going around solving locked room mysteries with his hands over lukes eyes then hardcut to erika maiming and tearing apart everyone in Labyrinthia (she didn't like the solution)

That happened to me too! I'd read up to EP 6 as the original Witch Hunt translations were coming out, but then life happened and I didn't pick it up again for several years. Then one day I started reading the goatsreadingseacats analysis posts, and learning about Sayo inspired me to read the VNs again.
