Being called out suddendly isnât something Min-Seo particularly enjoys, but given her worrisome and to an extent motherly nature, she canât not turn around to see who is referring to her and why. So, when she sees a stranger with a limpâmost likely brokenâarm struggling to open a juice carton, sheâs both puzzled and concerned. It doesnât take her long to figure that said slack limb might be the âmissing armâ he mentioned. The scenario, however, in its whole gives off a weird vibe. Maybe itâs the optimism and the smile on his face that throws her off. (Wouldnât an average person be pitifully weeping in pain?)     âUm⊠AhâŠâ in lieu of helping straight away, Min-Seo hesitates, unsure whether she should just help or say something first. Worrying over this filmsy detail is something sheâd rather skip, but her mind absolutely has to follow the time-consuming procedure. You never know when itâs the right time to speak or stay silent, so in doubt, just say anything. Finally, she gulps, and with a feeble voice: âItâsâitâs. Okay. Can IâŠâ
Even if she seems to be asking permission, her hands are already grabbing the carton, keeping a firm hold on it as her free digits work open the cork. It requires little effort and less than twenty seconds, so when itâs opened she hands both the carton and the plastic cork back to him. Her face looks as apologetic as ever.     â⊠Here you go.â     How to end a peculiar encounter: step one, politely bow; step two, say goodbye; final step, pack your shit and leave to continue your daily life. (Min-Seo gulps again, and a single drop of cold sweat rolls down her neck.)     âIs⊠is your arm alright?â     Failed step one.
- âOh sweet! Thank you so much!â
  He was just about to take a good clunk from his newly opened juice carton, but he lowered the carton from his lips once she began to speak and question whether the state of his arm was okay. He lets out a light laugh and shrugs. His arm has seen better days, but it wasnât the first time he broke it anyway. So heâs sort of become accustomed to the whole âbreakingâ and fixing your arm procedure. His dad continues to scold him to this day.
-Â âMy arm is fine! I mean, itâs limb and useless- and I couldnât really lock my apartment door because of it.. Or open this juice carton.. But itâs fine! Really. Iâm just glad a goodhearted stranger like you wanted to open it!â
  Another light laugh escapes his lips and he now finally lets himself take a clunk of his juice. He slumps back onto the bench and lets out a content sigh, putting the carton next to him. Although he quickly straightened and stood up, holding out his only free hand.Â
- âOh yeah, Iâm Jack by the way! Iâm like- super glad you helped me with my thirst and opened the juice carton- so.. You know, introductions! I feel like I owe you one anyway.â
gxillotines:
â â Well, less of watching your âsick flipsâ and more so of a making sure youâre still alive by the end of them. â
Maiko let out a soft sigh and shook her head, how many times does she get a call from the hospital with a cheerful voice on the other end of the line? Far too many times for her liking, but in a way at least it means that this airhead was still alive after everything. Thank the gods for that.
Sitting down next to him on the bench she looked at his bloody shoes and scoffed, the manâs probably a master at taking out bloodstains at this point. Didnât matter whether it was on the shirt, the pants, the shoes⊠he just accumulated them everywhere. If she ever murders someone then heâd probably be the guy to turn to with hiding the bloody evidence.
â â Are you sure you should be doing any âawesome flipsâ with an ankle like that? Actually, I really donât think you should be doing much of any flipping at the moment. â
âMy ankle?.. Oh well..âÂ
  He looks down onto his feet and shrug. Itâs not like this hasnât happened before. Jack fiddles with the zipper of his jacket. The feeling of shame just started to sink in and he lets out a nervous laughter- not looking at the other.
He moves his skateboard closer to him as she sits and scratches the back of his neck. Okay, sure-- his ankle burned a little, but itâs the feeling of being alive! Itâs fine after all. (Although he wouldnât mind getting it wrapped up right now..)
âI can skate home I think!â
  He sets down his skateboard and slowly stands up- shifting his weight onto his healthy foot. The brunette looks back on Meiko, his smile beaming like a fresh dog straight outta the shower.Â
âWith some help from my friend Meiko of course!.. If you donât mind?..Ehe.â
{ @conoscenze }
âNew day, new takes.. Optimism levels is at itâs peak today! I can feel it!â
  I mean sure. His sink at his apartment broke and his landlord cut out the hot water for a week- and sure, he doesnât have his medication stocked up so he is basically expecting a good withdrawal- but the sky is clear and so is his mind!Â
 And yeah, okay. He might have broken his arm and he might be struggling to open this whole carton of juice because of it. Heâs been sitting on this bench for a while just struggling twisting the cork off. His skateboard rests next to him- forced to watch this massive power struggle.Â
âUh, hey.. Hey! Excuse me- heh, uhh- sorry to bother but uh... I got this juice here and uhh, Iâm missing an arm. I might need some help. You mind?â
u can like this for a starter ill do my best exdee
â â Perhaps you should take into consideration the risks of any activity before engaging in it. It seems to be a rather funny trend for you to get a new broken bone every other week. â
@blaumes
âYes yes, I know- I know! You donât have to scold me, mom!âÂ
  Yet again, another rolled ankle. Itâs fine, though. It could have been worse! And besides, he nearly landed that sweet hospital flip with his skateboard. Speaking of hospitals, he should probably check up with his doctor again.Â
  The brunette weakly sits down on the park bench, limping and holding onto anything he can to get to the bench and sets aside his skateboard. His bright yellow Vans still marked with the bloody aftermath.Â
â...Seriously though? Thanks for coming out to hang out with me. I know youâre busy and all, but itâs really nice of you to supervise my totally awesome flips and all! Youâre the best!!âÂ
