We're back with another themed week! This time to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Blazblue series (kind of cool how all these anniversaries line up lol). From November 19th to the 25th we will have a week of prompts for everyone to celebrate their favorite parts of the series through drawing, writing, whatever medium you wish!

Many characters in BlazBlue have gone through various voice actor changes, whether it’s because of something behind the scenes, the voice actor sadly passing away, or some third reason I can’t think of at the moment. However, a very noticeable change in voice actor tends to be that of Bang Shishigami.

Bang Shishigami, in English, has been voiced by two people: Tony Oliver (from CT to CS2) and Steve Kramer (from CSEX to present).

Comparing the two English voices, I will pose the question…

DAY 7: FREE DAY!

These ones were made prior to learning about blazblue week being on the horizon, but I'm throwing these in again cuz I still love how they turned out! I had the idea for these and my day 6 photos to be 'What if Matt got thrown to the canon timeline from his possibility'. Though his intro w/ Ragna is based on something in his timeline's original series of events.

shinto mythology ramble under the cut but tldr there's like 2-3 degrees of seperation mythologically between these assholes

So Susano'o vomited out his aramitama/embodiment of his anger and that became a kami named Amanozako (I think I saw someone on here mention that she could be possible inspiration for Terumi), and she's associated with amanojaku and tengu. Seija is an amanojaku, though I think she's said to be more connected to Ame-no-Sagume. I'm not 100% sure if Amanozako and Ame-no-Sagume are supposed to be the same kami, since I only found one story about Ame-no-Sagume, but they both seem pretty malicious. All of that is just an excuse for this bc I just think they're both neat.

Blazblue Week Day 7: Free Day!

While this could've technically been for yesterday, I decided to take a stab at redesigning Tsubaki's alternative form by the unfortunate name of White Justice. This one is much more Hakumen-inspired and I hope the final result came out well.

DAY 6: OCS/AUs I have a bit of both, but I'll throw my OC into this one with some custom sprites to match! Matt's been my flagship muse on tumblr for almost 10 years now, but he's a blazblue oc at heart to this day no matter how many changes he goes through. Don't be surprised to see him again on day 7!
