Hello and welcome to #fantasylifeweek2021!
This year's Fantasy Life week will be hosted from 20th to 26th December, lasting 7 days in total. This date was chosen because of the anniversary of the Japanese release (27th December).
For each day you will get 2 prompts you can either choose from or combine if you're up to the challenge.
Every type of fan content will be welcomed with open arms—fanfic, fanart, edits, videos etc. I won't stop anyone from creating NSFW works, however I will not reblog it.
If you post your work on another website (e.g. AO3) please make a Tumblr post with a link so I can reblog it on this blog and share it with the others! Please tag all your posts with #fantasy life week 2021.
If there are any more questions, feel free to send an ask or a message (to this blog or @noelialunares)! I'd like this to be an enjoyable event for all of us, so please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.
Last but not least, the prompts! I've decided to post them a few weeks before the actual event begins in order to give you a little time to brainstorm :D
With some advice and suggestions from @suumekoi, I've chosen these prompts for this year's Fantasy Life week:
Day 1, 20th Dec: monsters | modern AU
Day 2, 21st Dec: reunion | genderbend
Day 3, 22nd Dec: letters | fairy tale/myth AU
Day 4, 23rd Dec: adventure | fake-dating
Day 5, 24th Dec: beach | corruption
Day 6, 25th Dec: airship | amnesia
Day 7, 26th Dec: lullaby | post-canon
You can interpret the prompts in any way you wish, you can explicitly use them in your work or just as a general theme. Again, you can either choose one or combine both in your work—or create two works, one for each prompt, if you want to.
